I went to this location after a VERY LONG day at a family event, and because Wichita rolls its sidewalks up at 10PM and the quick dining choices are absolutely minimal, I opted for this place.
What a mistake! I went to a drive in station, punched the order button and after 5 minutes, decided there was something wrong with that station so I drove to another. Same thing, no answer. I noticed several other cars doing the same thing, so being a veteran foodservice manager, figured they were very short handed as I seen only 2 individuals working as 'car hops'.
So I waited about another 8-10 minutes for someone to answer the order board, ordered my food and waited a very long time about another 10 minutes to actually get my food.
When I commented to the car hop who brought the food out she stated they were short handed because kids they hire won't come to work, which is clearly the fault of the Manager/Owner of this site.
Upon checking my bag when I got back to my hotel, I noticed they didn't include any plasticware, napkins, ketchup, salt packet...only the mint.
This had been about a month ago, but the ordeal still resonates in my mind, again being a long time food service professional and wanted to make my experience...
Read moreI’m so disgusted. Sonic use to mean fresh food. I’m sick and tired of the room temp and food that say under a warmer so long it’s rubbery! At 3:45 today, I ordered a corndog with two packets of mustard and a small tater tot with one ketchup. I knew when it came out quickly there was probably not going to be a good thing. Sure enough my corndog was completely stuck to the paper wrapper I had to peel it off in pieces, and when I bid into it, it had been under the warmer for so long it was Rubbery. I only received one mustard after asking for two My tater tots Weren’t even lukewarm I’d say Room temperature at best. My husband and I had just come from the vet and we were in a hurry as we had another appointment to meet pretty quickly. I didn’t have time to complain while there. I was so hungry. I ate the piece of crap in front of me.. We did call and ask for ONE EXTRA MUSTARD AND THEY BROUGHT OUT FIVE OR SIX PACKETS OF MUSTARD AND KETCHUP Please make it make sense. Read moreI placed an online order about a half hour, around 10:24, before they closed because I wanted a shake and it was half-priced. I arrive and check-in and wait about 5 minutes before the screen tells me that an associate named Marcus is on my way with my order. I wait 20 minutes, watching other cars come and go, and I still don’t have my shake. I press the red button to get ahold of an associate to let them know and wait 5 minutes before pressing it again to make sure I got through. I let the associate know what’s going on and that I have yet to receive my order despite all the other cars having come after me and get their orders before me. Shortly after, Marcus appears with my melted shake in hand, sans straw, and asks if I need anything else. I was too frustrated to say I wanted a remake or a refund or to even mention that he didn’t bring a straw, so I left and I cried on my drive home. If I could give this particular visit 0 stars I would, but since I can’t, I give it a 1.
