Okay place to work at in the beginning. Place took a nosedive after they fired the minority couple. Guess there is no forgiveness in this business.
Since the new management took over by this 🤡 of a guy named G arretty, he allowed management to vape in the restaurant which was a no-no according to policy, they continue to use cutting boards, that have black spots on them. Show me one person who wants food cut up with that on there. Backed up sink is developing mold which is right next to the ice dispenser. New management calls people retarded and makes a joke that "if you've rolled a blunt, you can roll a sub". Very unprofessional!
They both need another training when they use the same gloves to make sandwiches, touch monitors, cash, etc. Cross contamination must be wild up in here. Same goes for safety. How many times have employees put the knives in the sink? Only for someome to cut themselves with it? Aint it the managers job to train the employees? Yet we are told " they dont have the time for training everyone".
I was originally hired as a driver bc they were having difficulty with their delivery service. The new manager, M atty, entered the info wrong and the info came back wrong. I've called the dmv, to clear up the issues and even provided a copy of my current mvr. G arretty wouldn't budge, wouldn't help a fellow employee and run my mvr again as an act of good faith. He's a plain douchebag. Very unprofessional!
This, folks, is the reason why yalll delivery service sucks. Upper management cannot function properly, enter the data correctly, expect the employees to be faithful back to them. RESPECT IS EARNED, NOT GIVEN.
They made sure to change the lock since firing the minority couple, but wouldn't fix the lock on the men's bathroom after someone already had been walked in on while using it. Someone needs to be fired for allowing this to happen since someone is acting regional manager. It's always easy to point the finger at someone else but won't man up, take responsibility for his actions.
They kept claiming they needed more people to hire. My wife and I offered to work more hours so we can help out and make ends meet. Win-win right? Nah. They hired more people only to start cutting our hours (working two hours at this point and being sent home is getting ridiculous). There's a pattern here. They start claiming that they are doing this to cut labor costs, but are ONLY sending my wife(who is black) and me (who is deaf) home. This is not only racist, but against ADA guidelines which is DISCRIMINATION.

I called at 12:15pm because I still had not been notified that my order was out for Delivery, and they said “it would be there any minute.” I then called back at 1pm to see where my food was because it should have been delivered an hour ago, and they said the driver was on their way again. I called at 1:30pm because I still had not gotten my delivery and Patrick “the manager” said they delivered my food to the wrong address over an hour ago (even though I had called MULTIPLE times since then) and they’d resend it out. I call again at 2pm because it’s been 2 hours since I should have received my order and Patrick then again says the driver is on their way and then hung up on me. This location is so incompetent and is always the SLOWEST ever- whether I go in person, order ahead for pickup (and then it’s never ready when you get there), or delivery. If you order delivery you probably won’t even get your food. Then the people who work there are useless and don’t know anything and don’t help at all. I’ve asked for their store manager to contact me and he never has, I’ve contacted their corporate and they have done nothing at all. And if you do get your order - 90% of the time they get it...

The order was completely wrong. 2/3 sandwiches were not the right thing. One was made with no lettuce, and the other wasn’t even the type of sandwich I ordered. The music playing over the speakers was uncomfortably loud, and it was rap music with regular swearing and racial slurs. It was completely unacceptable for a place of business to play at all much less when every single customer could hear it. I had to ask the people working the counter to turn the music down 3 times before they heard me correctly if that gives you any idea. They never apologized, or tried to make it right, they just tuned their back to me and turned it off. The ice machine did not work at all, and the floors were dirty and trash was all over the floor. I got out of there as quickly as I could. I would STRONGLY advise anyone against going to this location if you hope to have a pleasant dining experience in any way, shape, or form. I have yet to hear a response from either the franchise owner or corporate on this matter. Will update review if any type of response is received. In the meantime, my money will be spent at Firehouse Subs...
