This was my first visit and we came to just check out the food I saw on their website menu. Don't drink so had soda with meal. We tried the Mexican pizza, which put Taco Bell's to shame. Generous size, enough for 2, lots of fresh yummy veggie toppings, with side of salsa and sour cream, all for just under $9! Also we got a gyro and it was huge, stuffed with lots of meat and veggies, and all for under $10. Everything fresh and delicious. Rachel, the only bartender working took our order and was very nice and helpful, going out of her way to provide great service. Atmosphere was friendly, with jukebox music. Some of it was contemporary and some familiar oldies from the 70's. Plenty of seating tables. What I like most is you get great food for not alot of money. For similar prices you'd pay for fast food these days, but soooo much better here! I've been discovering quite a few of these pubs are often hidden gems for great yet affordable food in the...
Read moreThis place went under new ownership and got rid of most of their good bartenders, this used to be our go-to dive bar but now we will be looking for a new location to frequently go to. The vibe isn't what it used to be, seems to be more depressing and it feels like the bartenders don’t act like themselves. Drinks are a lot weaker these days and I’d personally stick to beer at this point than ordering a mixed drink. We tried to give this place a few tries under the new ownership before posting this review, but after stopping in yesterday, it just confirmed that we do not want to come back as frequently as we used to. The food is alright, they got rid of a lot on their menu and I feel like it doesn't have much variety, or basic bar staples. Seems like theyre trying to go more boujee which is great if people like that, but if youre looking for a dive bar to have fun at, this...
Read moreWe come here often and food and service is usually great. Most of the bartenders are very polite and efficient. One bartender named Kim is very rude to us and others when we always come in being polite and thankful, and its not just a one time thing, its on multiple occasions. She makes us feel like we are an inconvenience and It makes it uncomfortable and makes you feel bad for ordering things from her when youre a paying customer. Got mad when we asked for menus long after i said we were ordering apps for now, and mumbled under her breath “jesus fing christ” I normally would recommend this place, however I would steer clear of Kim. Thankfully another bartender, Rachel, took care of us when we asked her to and she was amazing along with the other bartenders...
