McDonald's — Restaurant in Parma

If you enjoy a long wait and not getting what you ordered, this McDonald's is for you. I have been there three times since they re-opened after the rebuild and have yet to have a pleasant experience. The first time was the only time they got my order right. However, the wait in the drive-thru was about 8 minutes; much longer than it was before the rebuild. The addition of a 2nd drive-thru lane doesn't speed up the process. Traffic backs up and cars don't move. On my 2nd visit, I saw the same long line for the drive-thru and decided to take a chance and go inside. There weren't many customers in there and I was able to place my order within a minute or two. The slowdown occurred when I had to wait for my food. About 5-7 minutes later I finally got my order. It wasn't until I got home that I discovered my order wasn't right. Today I tried the drive-thru again and encountered the same traffic jam. When I got my order, I checked it before driving off. It was wrong again. I pulled around and went inside to complain. I had to wait another 5 minutes, got my food but was surprised that I didn't get an apology for the mistake or inconvenience. I spent a total of 15 minutes there. When I got back in my car, I double checked the order. It was right but the cheese on the burger was cold. Hopefully they're just working out the bugs in this new restaurant and service...

There is a small area with a touchscreen TV for the children to play a couple games. Most of the games do not work. The highchairs are stored around the touchscreen play area so if you have an active toddler then this is a perfect place for them to climb and hurt themselves. There is not a playland or anything close to an active area for the children to entertain themselves while the adults dine.

Regarding service and food, it is apparent that the management does not care at this location. We were given a number so our food could be dropped at our table and after 15 minutes we went up to the counter to ask about our food and we were told they didn't have our order. They apologized and we waited another 10 minutes before it came to our table. The kids happy meals French fries and chicken nuggets were cold and they forgot part of our order so I had to go back up to the counter again. When I spoke to an employee about our situation and said I like to speak to a manager and I feel like our meal should be refunded the employee returned to me with 2 coupons for a value meal that expires in a month. It's McDonald's, not really anything special. The nice thing is these people almost always get my order correct. I been here plenty of times, and only once was my order wrong, which was easily fixed. I do have a gripe, and this isn't an attack on this store alone, but with McDonald's in general....what is up with being so greedy with the sauces and ketchup? I mean if someone orders some nuggets and they ask for a sauce...can you put a few of them in there? Also I know not everyone enjoys ketchup but if someone orders fries you should just toss some ketchup in there as a default. Sometimes I don't always remember to ask for ketchup, so that would be nice to implement. At the very least you could ask if we want ketchup. Yes I have ketchup at home, but I can save on ketchup if I get it from a company made up of billions and billions of dollars. Also please don't give me dirty looks if I ask for more sauce. This never happened at this location, but it has happened in others...
