Went in today for some film for my camera, around 8pm in the electronics side of the store, and no one was in line. So my boyfriend waited in line to get help while I waited in the aisle where the film was. An employee named Sonia saw him and ignored him. Another man proceeded to wait in line and she attended to him first so my boyfriend politely told her he was in line first, and even the man stepped in and said “yes, he was here first” and she still ignored him and asked the other man what he needed. We have never felt so ignored and racially profiled. Sonia of course is a white female, and the man she helped was also white. We are not white.. Not sure if that matters. Anyways she proceeded to help this man get an Xbox and checked out his cart full of groceries when all we needed was the key for the shelve for ONE thing. We had another store to go to after this before they close. Once we were next she walked off to the back for a whole 15 minutes. And I went to get help elsewhere. As soon as we left she came back. Mind you we never have met this lady or spoken to her. I start walking off asking another employee for a manager and she over hears and interrupts and says why do I need a manager. I told her you ignored my boyfriend 2 times already and this will be the third time now. I asked her what is the reason she keeps skipping us, because we didn’t do anything and I feel racially profiled and she said “I’m busy with customers. there was a line.” There was no line when my boyfriend was there he was the only one until the man came. Then she said she didn’t care and to go get helped by someone else, I asked her for her name and she said “I’m not telling you” “you don’t need to know that” and covered her name badge then walked off and ignored us. I asked for help by two other employees and they were the ones who helped me call a manager in. We are a young couple, and my boyfriend is super super polite. I live in this area and this is my Walmart, but this was so sad and embarrassing. I don’t want to come here again and I will be reaching out to management after this review, I have never been racially profiled in my life til this day. We just wanted camera film, and once we left after everything that took over 40 minutes, we did not make it to the store we needed to go after which closes at 9. Very upset, Sonia should not be racially...
Read moreThe Walmart pick up “manager” named Jackie at the Fairmont location needs to be fired. I scheduled my pick up order to be picked up between 9-10am. At 8:45am I got the text that my order was ready for pick up. I parked and checked in at 8:58am. Jackie called me at 9:04am stating I had to come back later for my order because she allowed one of her employees to give my order to some random customer. I asked for her name so I could report her to which her response was “this isn’t my fault.” I asked her if she was the manager to which she said yes. I told her this was in fact her fault because it’s her responsibility to train her employees to do their job properly. I told her to cancel my order completely because I couldn’t come back. She couldn’t give me a time that my order would be available to pick up once it had been reshopped. She finally said “I don’t know maybe an hour” when I pushed back. She then text me when my order was ready again, but I am not able to go back. I set that pickup time based on MY schedule and not hers due to her lack of customer service. I called to cancel my order to which she had massive attitude and said “I’m not canceling your order just because you don’t want to come back for it.” This is a “manager” speaking to a customer this way. I was able to call customer service and have them cancel it on the spot. I also reported her (she also threw her employee Angel under the bus by saying he was the one who gave my order to the wrong person) to Walmart Customer Care. Hopefully she’s fired or at the very least receives extensive training on how to do her job AND on how to speak to customers when SHE was the one who messed up. “Mistakes happen” was her only attempt at justifying and remedying...

The employees steal. Had a friend accidentally leave his phone around about 2 security guards, store manager. and 2 employees. These people were not doing their jobs if they saw a customer steal the phone, so I assume one of them stole it. He came back shortly after not even 30 min later to see if they had his phone and to check the security cameras. They refused and said the cops had to be there. Called the cops and went back and they refused. Really suspicious. Wonder why they have cameras yet they don't let you see the footage. Hm...probably because an employee stole it.
The new self checkouts are a terrible idea. Takes even longer to get out of walmart now. Half of these machines are closed and most people don't know how to use the self checkout so you're stuck in line all day.
Unsanitary. Biohazards everywhere. Disgusting. Smells like diareha throughout the store.
Walmart has no good deals.
They assume people steal if they don't have a recipt. So while it asks you if you want a recipt on the self checkout and you say no, you're in trouble. They think customers will steal but the thiefs are the people who work at Walmart and it doesn't matter because no one can prove if they steal because they are the only ones who can see the security cameras.
Half the parking lot is for curbside pickup at the front of the parking lot. So they make the people who are not lazy have to walk even further even though they are going to be walking around the store while the curbside people can be lazy. This design proves they don't care about their walk in customers because they are catering to the online customers.
Do not come here and don't expect Walmart...
