Oishi (oh-ee-shee) – Absolutely lives up to its name!
Oishi might just be the best traditional ramen spot in the Tri-Cities and I say that confidently after just one meal. Even ordering through Instacart, it didn’t feel like we sacrificed a thing. Honestly, my mind was blown before I even took a bite.
The packaging alone deserves its own review! The order came in a sleek, branded reusable-style bag lightly insulated with an adhesive seal that kept everything warm and secure. Each ramen came in a large bowl with a separate tray for noodles and veggies above the broth, so nothing got soggy. Everything arrived fresh, hot, and beautifully organized.
We ordered the Oishi Ramen, Vegetable Ramen, and Takoyaki every dish was rich, flavorful, and packed with umami. The noodles were perfectly cooked (no mush here!), the portions were generous, and I even had leftovers for two days.
If takeout can be this good, I can’t wait to experience Oishi in person. Their name literally means “delicious” in Japanese and they...

If that isn’t evidence enough for you that I firmly believe this place is worth every penny then I don’t know what is. I went here a while ago with my girlfriend so I can’t quite remember what we ordered but I do remember they have poke bowls too.
Our waiter was amazing, this was my first time ever using card to pay at a restaurant so I was kind of thrown off when I got my card back with a new receipt, but eventually I figured it out and made sure to leave a good tip! She would check on us periodically to make sure our food was good and that we didn’t want anymore water. You could also note that you can ask for chili oil if you decide your ramen isn’t spicy enough (as seen in the bottom right of third picture).
Atmosphere was great, it’s a very calming environment with great lighting paired with cozy booths. They also had some nice music going so that was a bonus.

By then, the restaurant had filled up, and we noticed other tables receiving their food before us. My wife decided to cancel her order, and the only response from the waiter was a brief apology. During our wait, I also observed the waiter offering another customer a complimentary beer for the delay, while our family received no such gesture—just a simple “sorry” before we were largely ignored for the remainder of our visit.
Overall, the service was disappointing, and the experience left us feeling overlooked and undervalued...
