Simply put, this was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced—before we were even seated. If it was possible to give 0 stars I would.

Joe’s came recommended by family members visiting the area, and the online reviews were overwhelmingly positive. Naturally, I had high expectations. I consider myself both patient and reasonable, so when we were told our party couldn’t be seated yet because they were “waiting for the rest of our group” and “needed to put more tables together,” I didn’t complain—it made sense.

What didn’t make sense was the complete disregard we faced once the rest of our party arrived. We were all present and ready for twenty minutes with no acknowledgment from the staff. Even more insulting, only one table—with the side flaps extended—was used for our group. So what was the hold-up? Frankly, I feel lied to, disrespected, and shunned. Going through some of the reviews made and it seems they tend have a bias towards a certain clientele and unfortunately my party did not meet the criteria needed for this establishment. It’s also suspiciously convenient that none of the hosts or servers wear name tags.

As for the food? Subpar. Not terrible, not good—just average. It’s the same quality you’d find at the breakfast bar of a mid-tier hotel. Definitely not worth the 45+ minute wait we endured.

Unless you enjoy being misled, ignored, and served mediocre food after an unreasonable wait, do yourself a favor...

To be fair, this rating is based purely on service and not their food. Called in to make an order for pick up. The lady that answered was extremely rude. We said we needed food for 8. She sacrasticly said 'really for 8?' She would ask questions such as 'how would you like your eggs? And what kind of toast?' Out friend would relay those questions and we would answer them. Before even finish taking one order she told us to call back when we knew what we wanted. We were all shocked. Her attitude was unwarranted and uncalled for. We knew what we wanted and had made a list. It wouldn't have taken much time to ask each person what toast they wanted. It would have been exactly like taking an order at the table. Every guest doesn't know that toast comes with the meal and there is some interaction and back and forth that needs to take place when orders are being taking. It was as if they did not want any of our business. The level of customer service over the phone was very unprofessional and outright rude and offensive. Her tone was sarcastic, her willingness to provide any customer service was absent, if her goal was to deter a large order just because she didn't want to cook it, she throughly succeeded. We did not call back because we decided that she was so offensive that they did not deserve our business or money. Way...

I love a good diner and I LOVE how pro military and pro America this place is. Whenever I visit a new diner there's two breakfasts I really base the experience on, either eggs benedict or chicken fried steak. This time I tried the Chicken fried steak and the reason I feel this is a great way to get a sound opinion on a diner is because you have several elements.

  1. Over easy eggs were prefect.
  2. Hashbrowns were crispy but not over cooked or overly greasy and were a large portion.
  3. The Chicken Fried Steak too wasn't greasy, it was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful savory flavor
  4. Their white gravy was a 8.5/10 (And that to me is a HUGE compliment) because not all white gravy is the same and people can really mess it up.
  5. English muffin (Round toast) was crispy but not burnt I will most definitely go back here again, service was kind and funny and the environment was just what you want from a diner and they had so many cool things to look at and they pay respect to our armed forces and our constitution. I will need to try the eggs benedict next time for sure! Great...

Aug 6 & 7 When they say this place is "The Best Breakfast In Town", they're not lying! While in Paso Robles, this is a must stop. We were looking for a good breakfast spot while on our anniversary vacation, and this place did not disappoint. The first morning I had the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs with the Biscuit & Gravy, and the wife had the Hamburger Steak & Eggs. Simply amazing. It was SO good, we had to come back the next morning before heading home. The next day I had the Lorraine Omelette (& they don't skimp on the bacon!), and the wife had the French Toast. Again, amazing. The flavor was so good with everything we had. And the coffee was the best we've had at any breakfast place. Service was great, and all the waitresses were very friendly. For being a small place, it's very cozy and they move everyone pretty quickly. Would definitely come back next time we come through Paso Robles.

If you’re coming down Spring Street, it’s easy to pass by because it actually sits on top of a little hill with the entrance off the side street. Once inside though, you’ll be greeted by friendly, personable waitress staff. Like the other two Joe’s in the area this one is small but They are able to accommodate a moderate number of people. Coffee comes pretty quick and your cup never gets empty. With Their extensive breakfast and lunch menu there’s a lot to choose from to satisfy your hunger. I ordered the ham and American cheese omelette with sliced avocados. As you can see, the omelette comes full of ham. The hashbrowns are, well there hash browns. I’ve eaten it all three Joe’s now and I find the staff is friendly and personable at every location. Stop in for breakfast or lunch and you’ll leave satisfied

This restaurant came highly recommended from our uber driver. I loved the atmosphere. Then the disappointment set in. They server was ok., this is something silly. The restaurant is named Joes, walking in you see all the USMC memorabilia. My son Joe is currently serving with USMC. I told our server and she just couldnt be bothered. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros it came out covered in cold generic salsa. The cheese didn't even melt. The beans were sour, so they probably really old. The biggest disappointment was the biscuits and gravy. It came out of kitchen luke warm. The gravy was like paste with absolutely no flavor. The biscuit was so dry it stuck to thr roof of my mouth. I will never return to this restaurant again.
