Simply put, this was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced—before we were even seated. If it was possible to give 0 stars I would.
Joe’s came recommended by family members visiting the area, and the online reviews were overwhelmingly positive. Naturally, I had high expectations. I consider myself both patient and reasonable, so when we were told our party couldn’t be seated yet because they were “waiting for the rest of our group” and “needed to put more tables together,” I didn’t complain—it made sense.
What didn’t make sense was the complete disregard we faced once the rest of our party arrived. We were all present and ready for twenty minutes with no acknowledgment from the staff. Even more insulting, only one table—with the side flaps extended—was used for our group. So what was the hold-up? Frankly, I feel lied to, disrespected, and shunned. Going through some of the reviews made and it seems they tend have a bias towards a certain clientele and unfortunately my party did not meet the criteria needed for this establishment. It’s also suspiciously convenient that none of the hosts or servers wear name tags.
As for the food? Subpar. Not terrible, not good—just average. It’s the same quality you’d find at the breakfast bar of a mid-tier hotel. Definitely not worth the 45+ minute wait we endured.
Unless you enjoy being misled, ignored, and served mediocre food after an unreasonable wait, do yourself a favor...
Read moreTo be fair, this rating is based purely on service and not their food. Called in to make an order for pick up. The lady that answered was extremely rude. We said we needed food for 8. She sacrasticly said 'really for 8?' She would ask questions such as 'how would you like your eggs? And what kind of toast?' Out friend would relay those questions and we would answer them. Before even finish taking one order she told us to call back when we knew what we wanted. We were all shocked. Her attitude was unwarranted and uncalled for. We knew what we wanted and had made a list. It wouldn't have taken much time to ask each person what toast they wanted. It would have been exactly like taking an order at the table. Every guest doesn't know that toast comes with the meal and there is some interaction and back and forth that needs to take place when orders are being taking. It was as if they did not want any of our business. The level of customer service over the phone was very unprofessional and outright rude and offensive. Her tone was sarcastic, her willingness to provide any customer service was absent, if her goal was to deter a large order just because she didn't want to cook it, she throughly succeeded. We did not call back because we decided that she was so offensive that they did not deserve our business or money. Way...
Read moreI love a good diner and I LOVE how pro military and pro America this place is. Whenever I visit a new diner there's two breakfasts I really base the experience on, either eggs benedict or chicken fried steak. This time I tried the Chicken fried steak and the reason I feel this is a great way to get a sound opinion on a diner is because you have several elements.
