This Chinese buffet offers a solid selection of flavors and, of course, the unbeatable appeal of all-you-can-eat dining. The staff does a commendable job of keeping everything clean and tidy, making for a comfortable dining experience. While the flavors are just right for a classic Chinese buffet, some of the skewered meats can dry out if they sit out too long—a small downside but something that could be improved by adding lids or covers to help keep certain items fresh.
One feature I miss is the ability to order individual dishes to-go, but they do have a convenient alternative where you can walk in, fill a tray with your favorite selections, weigh it, and pay per pound. Personally, I prefer to call ahead and have my order wrapped up in the classic Chinese takeout boxes, which always adds a nice, nostalgic touch to the meal. The restaurant itself hasn’t seen updates in a while, though the previous renovation added granite tabletops that still look great and give the place a bit of an upscale feel.
While it’s a four out of five experience for me, there are areas that could use a little refinement. Reintroducing table soy sauce would cut down on single-use plastic waste, as the individual packets feel unnecessary for in-house dining. I also noticed a slight tension from staff who seem wary of guests taking advantage of the buffet—understandable, but it does create a somewhat less inviting atmosphere. All in all, this is a solid spot for a quick, satisfying buffet meal with room for minor improvements that could make it an even more welcoming...
Read moreIf you've ever been to a Chinese buffet then you know what this is like. Nothing too special. We went an hour before closing and they were still bringing out food so that was a great sign. They had 2 types of cho mein, one fat and one thin. I hate the fat kind so I had the thin one and it was really good. They had a sushi station but it was closed by the time we arrived. They had quite a few desserts and fried dessert type dishes. We love shrimp and they had 3 types. They had crab legs. We didn't have any meat but those dishes looked good as well. The staff was nice, walked around to check up on tables to take away dishes and get drinks. Didn't let dishes pile up. There was quite a bit of staff always doing something so that was a good sign. When we went there were a decent number of people and mostly stayed near closing time. They took a whole with the check but that was because there was only one lady at the front and she did the checks, but she was still nice. Overall one of the better experiences at a...
Read moreSo so food, so so service, and on the expensive side. I don't want to give up on them but have grown more disappointed over the years. Have been going here off and on for probably close to 15 years. It's gotten a bit too pricey for me. And any meat that is not chicken or fish seems chewy and gristly. Sometimes food is over cooked or dried out. Went a few days ago and sat waiting for someone to bring us water or ask us what drinks we would like. Had to get up and ask them about it. Drinks are now automatically included in the price of the buffet. But that's not a great deal for those of us who don't drink soda. Also took a while before anyone came to clear plates. The variety of food is good ( Chinese dishes, salad, sushi, desserts, sometimes crab and salmon dishes and some American fare) but given the pricing at almost $15 for Sat lunch, I only come when I am desperately missing any form of...
