Turning Fridays into family dinner nights is my favorite tradition 👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏻👶🏻 #momtok #family #fridaynight #datenight #foodie

My husband and I live here in paso and we love to try new restaurants and rate and review them and we stopped by the Ava rooftop restaurant, very beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, weather are ok, a little chilly for me but I always run cold but I ask for a blanket and they brought it to me but the food was disappointing sadly, I ordered the chilaquiles and was very disappointed because they used mole sauce for the chilaquiles, you do not t put mole sauce in chilaquiles, and the waitress never ask how I wanted my eggs and they came sunny side up and I hate my eggs like that besides that the eggs were really salty, there was no cheese in my chilaquiles, cheese is one of the main ingredients in chilaquiles, it had a few pinto bean over the chilaquiles hmmm 🤔. They were also cold but I guess since we are out doors they got cold, if this was my first time trying chilaquiles this experience would make me hate all chilaquiles. We also ordered the queso chorizo fundido but unfortunately they literally put like 1 teaspoon of chorizo in the middle and the cheese reminded me of the nacho cheese from Taco Bell, my husband ordered the fish tacos and he loved the tacos, I thought they were ok, I would rate the tacos 8/10 Chilaquiles 2/10 and chorizo queso fundido 7/10…. Food presentation 10 /10Waitresses was very nice, but hotel very very beautiful, I would definitely return for drinks and with friends to hang out. I will add a video and read this on my TikTok

I recently had the pleasure of a hosted stay at The Ava Hotel in Paso Robles for work, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the team was incredibly warm and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of with genuine care. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed--perfect for relaxing after a long day. The on-site restaurants were another highlight, offering fantastic options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. Between the welcoming staff, elevated dining, and relaxing accommodations, The Ava strikes the perfect balance of comfort and sophistication. I can't recommend this hotel enough--whether you're here for work or leisure, it's truly a wonderful place to stay in Paso Robles.

The Ava Hotel positions itself as a premium luxury destination (think Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Mandarin). It is most definitely not that.

While brand new and in an ideal location just blocks away from the downtown city park, the level of service--and subsequent response from them after providing feedback--does not meet the standards of a premium luxury hotel. My experience missed the mark on many levels to truly call the Ava a luxury hotel property.

For one, I received several texts prior to check in, but the texts were confusing, as they seemed to indicate I was already checked in.The first text was a week prior to arrival, then the 2nd text was two days prior to arrival. Yet, after my arrival, I didn't receive any texts asking how my stay was going. Hmmmmm, what?? It was a thoughtful gesture to check in with me, but so ill-timed that it created confusion, rather than peace of mind.

Once at the property, which by the way, is positioned between the police station and fire department on once side, and railroad tracks and the freeway on the other side, I was not greeting by a bellman (what one would expect from a 'premium luxury hotel') and found the check in desk empty. Once someone arrived to greet and check me in, I wasn't informed of any status benefits (they're a Hilton property) and I had to ask to make sure there were benefits available. Upon checking, I learned there were benefits available to me, but it felt awkward to prompt them about this. Aside from the hotel being positioned near the police station and railroad tracks, it's a convenient to walk to the downtown Paso square. However, on site parking comes with a fee, but you can park for free if you park your car just outside the parking lot. So after checking in, I moved my car to park directly in front of the hotel to avoid a $20 charge just to have it in the lot. A parking charge, while certainly understandable in a city with higher density and less parking availability, seems unreasonable in a rural/suburban location.

The room itself (king bed with Juliet balcony) was clean, well-appointed with a Nespresso Vertuo machine and, thoughtfully, had real glass coffee mugs rather than paper cups. That was a nice touch. However, the balcony was useless, as there's no room to sit on it, and the room overlooked the police department. So much for a romantic view. The bed was extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, the water for the nicely sized walk in shower barely made it past "very warm," which made for a disappointing shower. Do you like robes and slippers at a luxury hotel? If so, you won't get them here.

For the price of the Ava hotel (upwards of $315/night before taxes on weekend nights), I'd recommend staying elsewhere. You're better off going just down the road to other properties such as the Holiday Inn Express, where rooms are large and clean, there's a nightly 'happy hour' of free local wines and beers, daily free breakfast, free parking, and rooms that are way cheaper. Unless Ava makes some serious changes to position itself as a true premium luxury destination, I don't see myself returning, particularly after their...

Absolutely phenomenal stay at the Ava Hotel in Paso Robles! From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this place is the epitome of luxury. The rooms are nothing short of spectacular—spacious, beautifully designed, and so comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the bathroom felt like a spa with high-end fixtures, a large tile shower, and plush towels that added that extra touch of indulgence.||||The front desk staff truly went above and beyond, offering a warm, welcoming vibe from the start. They were so attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area, ensuring we had everything we needed and even helping with local recommendations. Their personal touch made us feel like VIP guests the entire time.||||Now, let’s talk about the food and drinks. With two on-property restaurants and bars, the Ava Hotel knows how to do dining right. Every cocktail we had was expertly crafted, and the food was out of this world. Whether we were enjoying a creative drink at the bar or indulging in a gourmet meal, each bite and sip was a culinary experience. The attention to detail and local ingredients truly made every meal special.||||The Ava Hotel blends impeccable room quality with outstanding service, making it the perfect place for a luxury getaway in Paso Robles. Can’t...
