Un Chin Grab & Go — Restaurant in Passaic

I recently came here on 06/18/2025 & Ordered a “Cordon Bleu Meal w. Salad & Tostones” as well as a “Dominican Burger w. French Fries” , everything went well UNTIL we asked for the check and boxes to go for us to take OUR FOOD THAT WE BOUGHT ! they said “WE CAN PACKAGE THE REST OF YOUR FOOD, PLEASE HAND IT OVER TO US TO PUT IT IN THE FOOD CONTAINER’S TO GO” , THEN I WAS Wondering ? Why it was taking SO LONG FOR THEM TO PACKAGE THE REST OF MY LEFTOVERS ?! They handed it to ME, CHARGED MY CARD FOR TOSTONES I HAD LEFT AND SALAD I HAD LEFT & literally I never checked the bag until I got on a BUS back home & SAW while in the BUS ! THAT THEY TOOK MY LEFT OVER TOSTONES & SALAD COMPLETELY !? HOW DISGUSTING & DISRESPECTFUL THAT WAS FOR THEM TO BE SO CHEAP & HORRENDOUS for “Un Chin Grab & Go” EMPLOYEES to have done this to my hard earned $$$ meal THAT ME & MY FIANCÈ PAID FOR ENTIRELY !! NEVER AGAIN EATING HERE AGAIN !...

I can go on and on about how great of a restaurant Un Chin Grab and Go is, but I’ll try to keep this as simple as possible. For starters, the food is amazing. The Churrasco is the best churrasco in the STATE! Seasoned to perfection, along with the tostones, making it a great dish for an empty stomach. The options are endless, the Picadera is so convenient for foodies who desire more than one type of meat.

The restaurant hours are so convenient. Open until late night, grabbing something to eat whether it’s for lunch or a midnight meal, makes it so convenient to find a home quality cooked meal for which anyone desires.

Had the worst experience ever in this place, they put salad inside the plate to take space from the tray but in reality it’s just a 1 person plate when I ordered the $35 one , as a Dominican all my life have never seen salad inside a fritura plate. This is places customers service is garbage, the girl in the front was in the restroom for over 10 mins and then came out & took my payment with a very visible attitude.
