I updated my review on October 27, 2021, to add two more stars, after Moe's improved and Qdoba discontinued so many items I stopped visiting there.
Moe's now has the best Mexican food of the three chains. Unfortunately, their food is not as good as Qdoba's used to be.
I only rate them three stars because their order accuracy is as low as 80%. I have received multiple refunds from DoorDash for blatant errors, like providing pork instead of chicken.
If Moe's could halve its error rate, to say, 90% accuracy, then I would increase my rating by another star.

After my negative experience at Chipotle, I hoped that the new Moe's would be be better, but I was disappointed yet again.
All three of the Mexican chains seem to have comparable food quality, so I have no complaints about the food. I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness of this restaurant. At many restaurants, the tables are left dirty between patrons, but here a staff member was solely dedicated to cleaning the dining room full-time. As soon as someone left, the table was wiped and the floor was swept up within one minute. This is far better than Chipotle, which was unsanitary.
Unfortunately, yet again, the staff could not serve customers quickly. I came at 2:00pm, and the line was out the door. I waited several minutes and then left. I came back at 6:30 and waited 24 minutes just to place my order. I was extremely disappointed because I was unable to swim laps that evening, and obviously nobody can afford to take such a long lunch on a weekday even if I had...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNormally Moe's stores are great. It's an easy model to follow with great food. But this place loses stars for execution and communication. First, we head to the counter and the person greeting us is down the counter by the chips. And by greeting I don't mean welcome to Moe's, I mean "hi what can I get you?" With ambient nose and face masks there's no way she expected to hear us we tried to speak back without shouting and sure enough she couldn't hear and interrupted saying "what", but not bothering to move closer. It wasn't until we yelled our orders and she had to come down and start making them that she moved. She then continued to ask us what we wanted at the same time making figuring out who she was serving first difficult. Another employee came over and took all but one of the ordered from her and proceeded to do it correctly. The woman continued to make mine. She ended up giving me the loosest rolled burrito I've ever had there. Finally when we went to pay they had to have her confirm the order because evidently what she wrote wasn't clear. This made the stale chips stick out even more in my mind. I'd love to say I'll be going to another Moe's but there isn't one close. So I will just stay away until the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery disappointing. I tried to like it. Really I did. But at some point, I realised I was just kidding myself. (Probably the good company I was keeping temporarily eclipsed my critical palate.) I so hate doing critiques like this. But I gotta be honest.
Poor quality, luke warm, main courses across the board with no explanation as to why you couldn't get the plainly advertised steak strips on anything. Bland, anemic salsa. Emaciated corn chips that crumble if you look at them wrong. (Elephant and Castle this is not!) Couple all this with the fact that the ham-handed workers there seemed transplanted from the local McDonalds; not the least interested in what they were doing; and possessed nanoscopic clue on how to prepare Tex-mex food.
Upshot: Avoid this place. Go to Rey's Azteca across town if you are after decently prepared Mex food. It may not be top drawer. But it's worth the trip. At least the staff there take true pride in what they do.
P.S. I fear the only nice thing I can say about Moe's is that I liked their artwork on the wall. (But I didn't go there to...
