Papa John's Pizza — Restaurant in Pauls Valley

Was going to get a slice of pizza because off of freeway, when you see the sign for pizza you expect to find pizza. I went in and there was a guy talking to the lady who was supposed to be making pizza. I assume he could not talk her into making a fresh one, because when I came out of the restroom, everything was still there and the man was gone. Since it is a small kitchen, everything is done right out in the open. I coud not even smell pizza. There was nothing in the oven and the pizzas on display had been there for a while. This was about 8:30 pm at night.

Not sure why Papa Johns wants to have their name on this...

This review is for a specific pizza operator!: 5AUG'23@2300 EVERYTHING was closed or non functioning and my last call for hot local food was here. This beautiful spirit fired up the oven(after closed), kindly made a perfect pizza to my like-ing and even tossed in some buttery garlic sauce!!! If your far from home, need some care put into your food AND get as lucky as I did. You may just go to bed Tired & Full but you know at least in the taste of that pizza someone actually cared about your small request. Decent pizza that no one made while negative...

We make two or three trips a month to Oklahoma City almost always on our way home we stop here for pizza.Our last visit I think must have been a slow day it wasn't all that. However any other time we've stoped there they have the best pizza I've had out of anywhere. Especially considering it's gas station food fast and easy.
