Fat Jack's Pizza — Restaurant in Payson

My family and I went here to eat the other day, and had a disappointing experience. We went in with a coupon for a 3 topping pizza for $11.99, we then asked if we could change the sauce to Alfredo, and get a chicken and spinach pizza. The cashier then responded "I don't think you can, and my boss is in a mood today, so I'd rather not ask him". After asking a couple of follow up questions, she decided to get her boss anyway. When he came out he was abrupt and forceful. He explained that a change you get free at any other pizza joint costs two dollars more, and he wouldn't count it as a topping either. So in essence I could get a two topping Alfredo pizza for two dollars more than a three topping regular. I don't really care if I can't change the sauce, but you don't have to be rude when telling me.

The first time we ordered pizza from here, it took over an hour and a half Past the expected delivery time for me to get my pizza, we thought that maybe the dine in would be a better experience. We were wrong.

While the Pizza and cheesestix are delicious, it is the only reason why I am rating them with two stars. The experience of eating here was very poor. For the price of their one pizza I can get two at Dominos, and better...

We were in town visiting. Checked out the restaurants in town and because of the reviews and the fact that they deliver decided to order from Fat Jack's. We were pleased with our decision. We ordered The Real Cowboy and some of the famous cheese sticks with ranch dressing and the antipasto salad. We were told the order would be delivered within a half hour ... it was more like 40 minutes. The delivery girl apologized the minute I opened the door. She said they made the wrong pizza and figured it out before it was delivered to us; they made the correct one and delivered both of them to us! The other pizza we received was The Mambo Combo. Both of the pizzas are equally delicious! We enjoyed the cheese sticks with the ranch dressing also. After reading the reviews my expectation was much higher. My vote is for the thousand island dressing though ... I didn't read any reviews about that. Try it out ... if you like thousand island dressing you will love Fat Jack's! When I first moved to Payson, Fat Jack's was touted as a place locals love, and I can see why. Their ingredients seems fresh, and their delivery time fast. Recently, I was caught in construction traffic that turned a 20 minute drive from Provo to Payson into 60+ minutes. I had placed my takeout order with Fat Jack's well in advance of their closing, but when I saw that I wasn't going to make it to Fat Jack's before they closed, I tried calling them twice. No answer. After their close time came and went, I figured that my pizza was long gone. To my surprise, about 10 minutes after they closed, Fat Jack's called me. They noticed they had missed my phone calls and saw my pizza was still there. They encouraged me to come by when I was able to get through traffic, they'd still be there. And they were.
