Java Pop — Restaurant in Payson

I was craving a smoothie today so I thought I’d try this place in my home town, rather than drive to my job in springville to get one. I should have driven to springville. The girls working here were short, and didn’t seem happy. I asked if the puree option for the smoothie was blended in, and she ignored me and just said “smoothie with puree?” I said yes. When I got to the window I didn’t know it was just raw puree at the bottom of the smoothie, so I was super sweet and just asked if I could get it without the puree at the bottom and she completely recharged me. Good drinks, don’t come in expecting a coffee shop, it’s a twist on coffee, only one drip machine and it’s self serve. Iced coffee is all made with cold brew. I came in expecting to get a regular iced coffee after a motorcycle ride, ended up a little out of my comfort zone. I’ll probably come back for the soda drinks and to try the snacks. The pretzel bites and waffle on a stick sound good.

Edit: not my intention for this review to have come off negative. Out of my comfort zone isn’t a bad thing at all, great overall experience, went back again today, the pretzel bites were amazing, jalapeño cheese dip...

My spouse and I come here almost everyday. Favorite work lunch spot. Very cute and clean spot, super close and accessible, Java Pop has soooo many customizable drink options! I was on a time crunch and it was my first visit so I just got a customized California love (pink lotus base mix) but it was so yummy! I missed these from when I lived up in the PNW so it's like a huge comfort. Will have to come back to try the snacks. Will definitely bring my friends back and have recommended to others to support local.
