Want to be treated horribly, given no food, and be told that the only way to eat on Dahlia’s Porch would be to order “to go” from a server without a single customer to serve? Well, welcome to Dahlia’s Porch, a place that refuses to let you she served on their namesake porch on a beautiful day unless it suits them!
We made a confirmed outdoor reservation through OpenTable that the restaurant absolutely refused to honor or acknowledge. Their site and listings claimed live music on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but upon arrival, we learned they had quietly moved it to Thursdays without updating their information. The bartender acknowledged us with the enthusiasm of someone clocking out early and summoned a single server hiding in the back to handle us.
The server’s version of hospitality was to inform us from the host stand that we could sit outside only if we carried our own food from inside. As pictured, the restaurant sat completely empty. Yet any semblance of service or southern charm was absolutely nonexistent.
Moments later, the same server emerged again, this time to clarify that we could only sit on the porch if we ordered our meal as takeout. For a restaurant that literally names itself after its porch, the irony bordered on absurd.
For a place that claims to proudly represent southern hospitality, Dahlia’s Porch delivered an experience that felt horrifically foreign for Peachtree Corners. I would not recommend going under any circumstances to anyone for any reason. As you can see, I typically only give rave reviews on Google. This is a well-deserved exception for a restaurant that completely insults southern...

Hands down one of the most disappointing and overpriced dining experiences I’ve ever had. Dahlia’s charged $75 per person for what can only be described as a cold, flavorless, thrown-together mess. • The food was barely warm, and the meat was so dry it might as well have been jerky. • The eggs, bacon, and sausage looked—and tasted—like they came straight from a school cafeteria or the bottom tier of a fast food chain. • They advertised an omelet station. There was none. Not out of order. Not temporarily closed. It simply did not exist. False advertising at its finest. • The food stations were unlabeled, sloppily arranged, and lacked even the most basic presentation—no effort, no pride. • The mimosas were flat and stale. If you’re going to overcharge, at least chill the champagne. • The only decent items? The crab cakes and the strawberry shortcake. Everything else felt like a bad joke.
This wasn’t a brunch—it was a cash grab wrapped in holiday marketing. Shame on Dahlia’s for turning what should have been a special day into a complete waste of time and money. Never again. Avoid...
Read moreFood and service were exceptional! I booked for a group of 8, having never been there, so based on their American menu we felt would have something for everyone, location for meeting and its Google rating. Did not realize the restaurant is located in the Hilton Hotel Atlanta Northeast, Peachtree Corners, which might've otherwise turned me off. My personal experience with hotel restaurants is overpriced with marginal food and service.
But NOT the case here! The staff was totally on the ball, helpful and met our tight time frame of having to leave. The food is awesome. My wife had what might be the best chicken pot pie recipe we've had...ever. Even their fish & chips batter was unique with a large serving. Everyone's meals looked exceptional and all were happy.
Drinks were well mixed and they weren't shy on the bourbon pour in my Old Fashioned.
We definitely will return to try other options on the menu and to meet friends in the Peachtree Corners area. Not a large indoor dining area but still have seating for groups. A large spacious outdoor seating area on the front of the hotel...
