Last night, I pulled up to the KK drive thru. The microphone echoed back everything I was saying, so it was very difficult hear the responses from the employee around my echo. After some confusion, the employee asked for a minute. I waited about four before she came back on. I tried to order again, from the top, and then she just stopped responding. So I figured she had my order, so I pulled forward to wait for the car ahead of me.
When we got to the window, about eight mins after arriving at the restaurant, we waited again until the employee came and stared at me. She didn’t say anything. I asked if our doughnuts were ready? She said she couldn’t hear me so she shut off the headset. Okay…so I gave her our order. For the third time. It was only six doughnuts, two each of three different flavors. Pretty simple.
As that was happening, we also saw an employee had a giant, industrial hose, spraying the floor. It looked like something a firefighter would use. The floor was soaked as far as I could see, and the blowback was so strong, we could see spray misting up and onto the doughnuts nearest the drive thru window 😳 🤢 So gross!
Two other employees were standing there talking, doing no work at all, while three cars waited in line behind me.
When the employee completing my order came back (I saw she had retrieved from an area that wasn’t getting sprayed 🤞🏻), I was very surprised that six donuts cost almost $13. I couldn’t read the prices clearly from the drive thru signs. But my three daughters in the car had been so excited to get donuts, so I passed over my card. 😣
When finished, the employee opened the drive thru window, stuck out my card and receipt, then my doughnut box, and didn’t say one word to me. No “have a nice evening” or “thanks for your patience,” let alone a simple “thank you.” I was so surprised at the unpleasant attitude because we had barely been able to interact. Her look felt so condescending and bothered as she stood above me. Why?? She shut the window and walked away, washing her hands of me in the back spray coming off the floor.
I only went to KK because Shipleys was closed, and I was reminded again why I dislike this place so much. The donuts weren’t even good; it was like the girl chose the tiniest ones she could find and they were so greasy.
You’re better off with no doughnuts than anything from that KK. I won’t...
Read moreSo I get to the donut shop and the Hot Lights lit so I'm like, "cool" since I never noticed the hot lights lit in the app so I never know when to come by there so then I open the app and the hot lights not lit but it's lit up on the store just not in the app so I'm like well maybe it's okay so I went and I decided I wanted one of these Kit Kat cookie dream Donuts because I saw it in the app right then and it looked good but I wasn't able to check out in the app because it just didn't want to work even after I added my card and everything so I tried to go inside and the lobbies closed it says temporarily closed use the drive-thru but the lady inside said they're not open in the lobby anymore I don't know. So I went through the drive-thru there's almost almost have my car ran into by someone else who also was going to go to the drive-thru and didn't notice me when they were packing out but so I get to the drive-thru and I asked for this Kit Kat donut and was told that they stopped selling those yesterday and I asked why is it still in the app and she said would you like something else so I ordered a cake batter donut and it had almost no filling in it very upsetting. I also got three quote unquote hot glazed donuts but they were not very hot maybe somewhere in between hot and not hot maybe that's why one light was on and the other one wasn't I don't know then she asked me if I wanted my receipt I told her yes and she did not hand me the receipt so that was cool also I asked why the hot light shows it's on at the building but it doesn't show in the app she says well it doesn't change in the app but she said it like I'm an idiot or something I said well how come it changes on all the other other locations and she goes what I don't know about the other locations. So all in all this was the worst Krispy Kreme experience I have ever had I'm going back...
Read moreOn Wednesday, December 27, I called 10 times on my way to this location to make sure they would have hot donuts between 5pm - 7pm. No one answered the phone. I drove from Sugarland to Pearland. Once I arrived the hot light wasn't on. I went to the restroom and upon coming out an employee ran into me and almost knocked me down. Not once did she speak, say excuse me or I'm sorry. They had water all over the floor in the store which was not blocked off and we could have fallen. I saw another employee and I spoke , she didn't respond but hollered out Reggie. Another employee passed us up and didn't acknowledge us either. Once Reggie came I asked if they were going to make anymore donuts. He said no and I asked for the manager. I then asked the manager why they weren't making anymore donuts when it said online from 5pm - 7pm. He said that on Wednesdays they do a deep cleaning and they only make hot donuts that morning. I told him why didn't no one answered the phone because that's why I was calling to make sure. I then called in front of him and said see why your phone is not ringing. He proceeded to tell me that they don't know where the phone is!!!!!!!!! I asked why it's not updated online if that's the case and why it's not posted where it can be seen. I come to this location every time I'm in town. Had also been there twice since I was in town. So if it was posted or they had answered the phone then I wouldn't have drove all the way over there and wasted my time and gas. Never once did he apologize or try to make it correct. When I asked for corporate information, he said he didn't know. How can a manager speak and act like this? He was very unprofessional. The other...
