Been to this Panda a few times and never had an issue. This time, unfortunately, I was not so lucky. Pulled into the drive through to order the Angus steak and was told it would be about a 6min wait. That was fine and I pulled through to the main entrance to wait so that I didn't block the drive through for other guests. I made a call when I pulled up to the window to pay and when I hung up the phone call 10min and 47 sec later I was still waiting out front. No one had come out to tell me it was almost ready or anything, I was left to wonder if they had forgotten me. I waited a about another min to min & a half before walking in. I will admit I was frustrated but I did not raise my voice or yell. I asked where the food was because I had been waiting twice as long as I was initially told and the only response I received was "it just came out" by a male employee in an aggressive tone. He then packed the container and handed it to me without another word. Not a single employee there made any effort to apologize for the wait or inconvenience or anything....no one said anything. The only person who did get an apology was the next customer in line for having to wait 20sec for them while they gave me my food. I called the restaurant when I got home to speak to the manager and explained what happened, I asked for no compensation whatsoever, and he apologized on behalf of the employee and said he would speak to him but to be honest he didn't sound that sincere and I felt like he just wanted to hang up the phone as quickly as possible. Unfortunate experience and all could have been avoided if someone had just simy come outside to let me know it was taking a little longer than expected or even just apologized to me when I came in looking for my food...that's it, I would have been perfectly fine had either of those happened. To add insult to injury my order was wrong and Joseph(the general mgr which I find hard to believe) told me they’d replace only the one item even though two items were wrong… I was late picking my kids up from their practice due to this wait and inconvenience!once my 8 yo daughter got home she realized her meal was incomplete the drink and the apple crisp were never given! I explained to Joseph I came here for this to be a dinner solution not to have to come home and make something for me and put together an incomplete meal since this is one of our late nights. There is no customer etiquette they need to take several pages from Chick-fil-A and other fast food establishments that have top tier service and etiquette! Too much money for subpar food and poor customer service.
I HAD to have noodles and teriyaki chicken one day. Came to this location and was told they used the remainder of the teriyaki chicken for my sisters combo. It would take TWENTY minutes for them to cook new chicken. Wait WHAT.
So I passed on this cook time, drive to the first window and decided you know what I’ll just go ahead and wait. Now suddenly the cook time is THIRTY minutes.
I asked why the cook time jumped exponentially. The response was “other customers orders were put in front of mine and they have been waiting a very long time”.
I’m not sure how many customers ordered in the span of the 30 seconds it took to drive from ordering panel to window, but apparently a lot.
Who ever heard of a Chinese fast food place that does not have chicken teriyaki ready to go. 💀
