Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Pearland

I just had the best jack in the box of my life today, ive had jack in the box hundreds of times but this just hit different. it would be one thing if one of the 3 things i ordered was made good, but no EVERY SINGLE THING was the best version ive had up until this point. Tacos were filled up more (yes i know they come prefilled) cheese in them was melty, taco shell was crisp not soggy, even the meat tasted better than normal, now i would have been excited from just that... When I opened up that chicken tater melt i could instantly tell that it was going to be great. I could tell by looking at it that the cheese and sauce were both perfectly combined and overflowing, what was already my favorite thing on the menu looked like the best i had ever seen it, you would think that that was the best part. No.. when i bit into it i was even more surprised to find that both the hash brown and the chicken were fried to perfection. The crunch from them paired with the bacon plus the cheese and sauce flooding in immediately after was something only comparable to pure bliss. I was instantly hit with my inner demons fighting each other on whether to scour down the sandwich because it was THAT good or to take my time to savor every bite. The best part is that each bite after was just as good as the last. Finally.... I opened up the mini churros thinking there was absolutely no way they could match it, and i did stand correct, im not sure if any jack in the box will be the same after having that sandwich.... But i will tell you this, those mini churros were perfectly warm, crunchy on the outside, gooey on the inside, perfect coated in cinnamon and sugar, made me forget that they came from a fast food establishment. Now i sit here, a smile on my face taking the time to write this review, enjoying the moment.... knowing i will likely never have jack in the box this good in my life. whoever's working in that kitchen right now... So this was an honest reaction as I was snapping a fwiend, and I've never tried Jack in the Box ever b4, and I told her I would let her know when I did... and we just got done with a 3rd shift job and then dropping my two very good friends off at the airport, so we were hungry.

The service here was very pleasant. Tho at the drive-thru speaker, you could barely her her... we got it all figured out. But the lady who took our order was sweet as pie and I appreciated that! We didn't catch her name, unfortunately 😔

One thing I didn't know is they do breakfast and lunch/dinner items all day they are open! I was super excited!

We got mini pancakes 🥞 😋 they were fun and yum! They were 7 out of 10 for taste in my book.

We got mini tacos 🌮 😋 they were messy, but they were super cute and fun to eat!! The taste of them were pretty good... I would get them again... I would say 8 out of 10 for taste.

We also got a meat lovers burrito 🌯 this one wasn't very nicely made, and in my opinion 🤔 it was very chewy bacon almost to the point of jerky. The tortilla was cold and wrapped around slightly warm insides that also, in my opinion, very bland. Now if you like bland you probably would like it... I, however, did not and took it home to fix it up better to my liking. I rate this a 2 out of 10.

We also got the churros and cookies brownie, and we thought they churros were ok... not much cinnamon and sugar around them, and they were extremely oily and didn't really want to eat too many. I'm glad I got a smaller pack. I rate these a 3 out of 10.

The cookie brownie was at best 👌🏼 nothing special... wasn't even warm, which I feel would have helped it out. So I rate this at a 5 out of 10.

That was my experience and opinion on my 1st visit to this restaurant.

Young lady in the drive thru was extremely rude from the beginning of the visit for one, and after having to wait till she decided to stop having a very loud and unprofessional conversation with her fellow coworker she came to the window to continue with an unwarranted attitude to take my payment. After about 10 minutes she returned to the window texting on her phone to inform me that my card had been declined, I proceeded to inform her that there was no way that was possible especially since I had just deposited my check into my account and checked my account balance, I left out the line to check everything where I found I had been charged twice for the food and still had no food. Upon going back through the line and making it back to the window I informed her of what had happened and showed her my account where it clearly stated that not only did I get charged for the food but had gotten charged twice, her response to me was this other girl had stated to her the same thing and there was nothing she was able to do and I just needed to call my bank.. I love jack in the box and this was and has been the worst experience I have ever had and will not be returning to this location ever again and will deter any family and...
