Ive tried giving this place 3 different opportunities. The first one was decent (right when they opened). Tried later it wasn't good, even shorted me on the to-go order. I called, they made it right. This time around, lights were completely off. Called it in, was told the order would be ready in 20 minutes…took 55 minutes…food quality has gone worse. Tamale was dry and burnt, AND HAD A HAIR in between the masa!!! Pupusas overly flaky, with little to no filling. Absolutely no flavor in the food, and the curtido was nothing special. I really don't understand the good reviews. I'm Salvadoran and though it looks authentic. The food was not. I wanted to leave a good review because the staff are friendly but food wise, it's not the real deal. Tamales are more like Mexican tamales masa. The pupusas were subpar, I bought revueltas and everyone thought they were just bean. The Sopa de Gallina was the most confusing? Just a bowl of chicken broth, at first I thought it had no meat but had a bit of shredded chicken. It came with lettuce on the side to put in the soup??? Looked like pho, tasted like Campbell. I went today for the first time and I wa really looking forward to my pupusas. I ended up getting the wrong order. Not pupusas and I kept calling to let them know about it and what I can do. No answer. Literally kept ignoring my calls and then suddenly it would hang up. Not cool. Probably won't even give them another try since they can't even own up to the mistake. Which is okay it happens but don't hide and ignore...
