I’ve tried to order vegan donuts here three times now, hoping third time’s the charm, but unfortunately this will be my last visit. When we arrived, there were only a few other customers. I ordered three vegan donuts and a medium iced mocha with no whipped cream. We waited about 5–7 minutes, then another customer placed an order for vegan donuts and received his first—even though he also ordered vanilla cake base donuts. When our order finally came up about five minutes later, we were told there were only one vanilla donut left. It was confusing and frustrating since we’d been waiting longer.
Next came the drink. Despite requesting no whipped cream, it arrived with whipped cream on top. The barista remade it, but in a smaller cup than the medium size I paid for.
As for the donuts themselves, they were soaking in oil and underbaked—so soft they only firmed up into a cake-like texture the next day. Flavor-wise, the chocolate base was decent, but the vanilla base tasted like straight-up vanilla protein powder. It was unpleasant and not something I could finish. On top of that, the toppings didn’t match the photos. Instead of the creative options promoted online, they just came with plain powdered sugar and frosting.
To make matters worse, on two previous visits I tipped at checkout only to be told afterward that there were no vegan donuts available—and tips aren’t refundable. After three tries with mix-ups, missing items, and poor quality, I won’t...
Read moreDelicious if a bit pricey, but definitely worth the money for the flavor, texture We got the keto powdered donut and the seasonal layered donut with blueberry cream cheese frosting All delicious; keto donut is made of coconut and almond (?) flour. Luxurious, soft, bready texture, a tiny bit oily but very nice still. And it’s keto from head to toe, kind of insane. The layered donut is something between a croissant, beignet, and donut. My girlfriend vacuumed it up in minutes and was surprised she inhaled it so fast. Super soft moist texture incredible flavor, exactly what you could ever want from a donut-croissant hybrid pastry. Definitely not your default American “Krispy Kreme” but it stands in its own league toe to toe with the classics.
Got a decaf latte too, very nice flavor.
All in all cost us $18.50 or so. Worth it.
Also get $5 off if you download the app the day before and use it on the next visit. But ya gotta wait 24 hrs!
Apologies for the photos we couldn’t help ourselves we were starving but it shows the crumb...
