Lawddd, last week in South Florida the rain was just falling for like 4 days straight like de lord Jesus forget to turn off de hose. However, I mustered up the strength and determination to drive through the rain for some jamaican food out Pembroke Pines side. First time at Fiery Irie, and won't be my last, and this is why. Rain was falling heavily, I came around 8:30pm, online told me they closing at 9pm, when I entered the establishment, it was very clean, and had a very attentive young lady to the front, when asked if they still had food, as I was expecting a very scarce selection based on the time I came, surprisingly she told me they had most of the menu. I proceeded to order the bbq jerk chicken meal, which came with an option of rice and Peas and some macaroni pie, and another option which I can't remember, but I opted for the rice and Peas, and Mac pie, yep, I know that's a lot of carbs, but it was a cheat day for me. Also ordered a half pound of jerk pork on the side, oh and two beef patties for breakfast in the morning. The bbq jerk chicken was great, the rice and the pie also were good, and I asked them for dark meat, and asked for ox tail gravy to be put all over, not swimming in gravy but a generous amount all over the meal. I was content, and slept well, the patties went down good too the next morning. Oh and lastly, the jerk pork wasn't no 1/2 lb, they packed it in, guess cause I came near closing time, but that jerk pork lasted for about two days after that. Good service and food was decent, not the best jamaican food I've had, but ya all get 5 stars, because I can't give 4.5 :) I will be back !!!

I was looking forward to trying this place out. But I guess on a Thursday Evening at 6:30 is not the best time. I walked in and there were people waiting to pickup their food and one woman stand by the order here sign. I joined her and struck up a conversation about the establishment. It was both our first time to this resturant. We wondered if the food was good then after a while wondered if we were standing in the right line to order. No one, absolutely no one working there acknowledged that we were waiting to order. I looked behind me and there now was a longer line. I exaggerate not...ten minutes later someone found their way over to take our orders. I wondered to myself why was I still in line. I must have been either too hungry or too lazy to go somewhere else for better customer service. A man in line walked out. I asked the woman in front of me how long she had been waiting before I walked in, she said awhile šŸ¤¦šŸ¾ā€ā™€ļø When it was finally my time to order I could not help myself but get a little animated to show how disgusted we all were in line. The person taking the order said he should not be taking orders. I said that's not the point. Someone could have acknowledge us in the line....then I remember I was in a Jamaican restaurant. This is standard practice. Aye my people do better!!!!!šŸ‡ÆšŸ‡² Now to what I ordered. Spinach patty and fritters. The patty was ok but the fritters were just dough. I will probably not be going back. And so it goes!

This is just what I needed. I don't eat Jamaican food very often (not that I would mind eating it more but I try to avoid eating out too much for the sake of eating healthy and what-not) but I stumbled upon this place on an errand commute and thought I'd just check it out on Google's reviews after driving by. Saw good ratings and went for it. I was not let down. I normally like Curry Goat when I go for Jamaican but upon seeing a few other options that stood out to me, I was having a hard time choosing. The employee helping me with my order offered me to sample a few and it did NOT make my choice any easier. Lol everything was good but I decided, as you'll see in my photos, on my original plan. Curry goat with rice & peas, coleslaw (mind you the coleslaw is not done with mayo but what I believe was some sort of vinegar and I actually like it better than the traditional American mayo base) and a Jamaican patty. It was all remarkable. Can't recommend this place enough. Quick service, delicious food and a joyful atmosphere that would have you thinking you are no longer in a strip mall and somewhere in the Caribbean instead. I'll definitely make this a stop when I'm in the area since I'm not from around here.

Ok where do I start well for one the owner is very rude & no manners. Then secondly the food didn’t have any taste to it the rice tasted bland & burnt. Then the food tasted like it waz leftover from the day before. The serving that they give out is a rip off compared to other places especially for the price I’m paying. How do u give someone barely two spoons of rice & three piece of oxtail & I’m paying full price smh. The patties taste like it’s non authentic like it’s out of the store & not made fresh from scratch. The rice waz hard & tasted like leftovers like I stated earlier if I’m paying top dollar I expect the food to be that. The jerk sauce tasted sour like it’s been left out for a long period of time or needed to be changed but it’s unacceptable. Last but not least I left to go next door & came back & when I came back some tall jaimacan man with a red cap was all in my wife face like him & her a buddy. No sir this is supposed to be a family environment. So when I proceeded to ask my wife what he said to her she said he is the owner/chef & she felt like he was flirting with her which is very unprofessional. Basically overall my experience there was horrible from the service from the older lady with the glasses with the braces to the food tasting horrible to the chef/owner all in people face. As I sat down I noticed he does that to all the women that walk in there & that’s not right. I hope that people see this & know for themselves cuz I will not return. Zero stars from...

I visited this establishment in Pembroke Pines Fl. I ordered a large and regular oxtail with rice and peas. I asked for extra gravy on the rice for both meals. The woman, who's name I did not get was scraping the bottom of the pan in which the oxtail was kept on the steam table. She then comes and tells me there isn't enough for the large plate that I ordered. I then told her that I didn't want the regular oxtail because I saw the product she was giving me and it wasn't pleasing. I asked her for brown stew children instead and to refund the money I had already paid for the oxtail which was considerably more. I don't know if she was perturbed over me telling her I didn't want the regular oxtail but she completely and utterly drowned the rice on both dishes with gravy to the point where it was inedible. When I looked in the tray of food I said to her "I asked for extra gravy not to drown it" There were a few people in line so I just took my food and left as not to hold anyone else up. I eat from this restaurant frequently but this time was horrible. The manager that refunded my money saw that I was questioning the woman but did nothing. I am just letting you know that, that isn't the way to go about things as long as you get paid to take the attitude of not caring. I didn't get a response to my email and I don't expect to. The nonchalant attitude they had at the time of the incident is the same nonchalant way they will address the...
