Well where do I begin, everything at Buffalo Wild Wings is good the place is clean and they keep everything in check while you are dining in or taking out or whatever. But I was there tonight and I had my first ever bad experience of the place since the place opened way back when.
First, I told my waitress (her name was Serenity) that I wanted boneless wings and she wrote it down. Once I received them they were traditional and I questioned her about it and she was gonna take them back and probs throw them away. I simple asked if I could eat them since they were already out and made and I do work in food service and I hate when I have to waste food because someone doesn’t want it or it is to cold etc. but then I asked for my wings i asked for either free or simply taking off the traditional wings from my bill. Well when I got my bill it was 45 dollars and I was wondering why it was so much. To my dismay I was charged still for the traditional wings and the boneless wings I asked for to go because of the mess up. It would have been nice if she said I’m sorry my fault I’ll get a manger for you to fix it, or simply just taken the traditional wings off but she didn’t even do that. I had to call corporate to even resolve the matter because I got home and looked at my bill again and saw that it was on there (I live about 15 20 minutes away wasn’t running back into the store to fix it).
Secondly, as a server you have to multitask. She was to busy talking to other people and not attending her tables. I asked for napkins twice before I even got them. She also didn’t even ask if I wanted more to drink I mean I could have used a refill on my ice water after she messed up my order in the first place.
This is why I gave the place three stars since this is only bad experience I have ever had...
Read moreWe were instantly sat on the back porch because my fully vaccinated, severely asthmatic husband made a comment about being forced to wear a mask. It was a gorgeous day, so brushed that off. Never got a drink menu, but hey lower bill, that’s fine too- we ended up asking for one.
30 minutes later we got to order- crispy chicken sandwich, kid’s burger, and a salad- no one made any special requests.
Crispy chicken sandwich is brought out nearly 10 minutes before the salad and kids meal. Cold to the touch, and was questionable how warm it ever got because the cheese was perfectly flat like it never remotely melted. Then they bring the burger and salad- the kids burger is made as a “smash burger” and done to a crisp-I picked it up, it was solid-but somehow even that cheese is standing at attention. And thinking about it, I picked it up as soon as they brought it out- so it was already cooled. Silverware was never brought for the salad. Server acknowledged the cold chicken sandwich- touched it in front of us and agreed. Took it back. We waited a little longer and then my son and I started to get up to leave- the manager was walking to us with the same plate and chicken sandwich arguing that it was 200 degrees- the cheese was still at attention. She started the interaction confrontational and that’s what evolved. Our last words to the server prior were that we’d just like the check.
The experience was disappointing, in every respect. We lost trust in the kitchen and management. Can’t recommend it, from what we saw, there’s a lack of confidence in what we didn’t see. Hopefully, they get it together before they make...
Read moreUnderwhelmed with our first visit to BWW on Friday night.
For starters, the food all came out separately from runners, not our actual waitress. We were missing salad dressing on the salads. Had to wait for her to actually come back by halfway thru our meal being eaten to get the dressing. The chicken tenders were over cooked and dark brown. Not a normal tender color or texture. And they tasted very bad and burnt. I believe the fryer oil needed to be changed big time. But also the tender was very dry, indicating it was overcooked. I ordered a burger. They didn't ask how I wanted it cooked, so I figured they made them all done or well done..... It came out medium at best (closer to medium rare) and falling apart. The bottom bun was soggy and wet. Yuck. Grease poured out of it when I bit it.
But the kicker was that our gift card mysteriously didn't work. When it was time to pay they said the gift card didn't work and propmted is to try the website. I couldnt figure it out and we were rushed to pay. I was originally going to send both entrees back but didn't because we had a gift card. But then the gift card didn't work so we had to pay.
I learned my lesson and that lesson is, send that food back to be remade no matter what next time! The other lesson, never order a burger at a...
