So I have never posted a negative comment on any restaurant social media platform since I've spent four years working in fast food, but today that changes! Today my mother ordered dinner for our family from the Chipotle in Hanover since she has been busy taking care of my brother, who has recently had oral surgery involving bone graphing in his jaw. Half the orders were messed up and we were also missing part of it as well. My brother also experienced irritation to his mouth because part of the mess up was the pork being replaced with the chicken that contained spices(which is why we had ordered the pork). So my mom called to get a refund for the order because we didn't get everything, half of what we have is incorrectly made in one form or another, and kne of those mistakes ends up causing my younger brother pain. She was told that there was no way to refund her dispite the fact that we picked up our order from their location and she got mad and hung up the phone. Once my brother was feeling better he said that he just wanted his dinner, so I drove the twenty minutes out to the store to replace his meal since my mother was already stressed as it is. I get there and politely explain what happened and that all I wanted was to have his meal fixed. No refund, just want our food. There was no apology from the THREE employees that came up to verify that the order was messed up, and then after I had told them what i needed guacamole was randomly put on top of his meal right after I told them the last item that I needed. I tell the women who I assume was the manager that I didn't ask for guacamole. She pauses, then proceeds to scoop it off the top and hand it to me. In food service, especially when you dont know what allergens or irritants a person might have, when a customer tells you a certain food item was not supposed to make contact with your meal it is REQUIRED that you throw away that meal and start over because it is basic food safety protocol. The customer service was not just plain rude and inconsiderate, but sketchy as well. As a Crew Trainer for Two of the four years I've worked in fast food, I cannot believe the terrible service that our family has received and hope that as many people as possible see this post before they decide to eat at...
Read moreThe worst chipotle location I’ve ever been to and as someone who travels all over the country for work, I’ve been to a lot of chipotle stores! Order was 8 min late, frustrating but ok. When I got home, my girlfriend’s bowl was only half full and missing veggies. My bowl was also missing veggies and was completely inedible by the amount of salt on the steak. A few weeks ago, I had gone to this store for dinner, as this location is 5 min from my house and the next closest is 30 min away. First, the conditions in the store were incredibly unsanitary. The woman in front of me had to ask for a new bag of chips, from a new container of chips due to the employee (who became very angry at the ask) reaching in with bare, unwashed hands to fill the bag, also contaminating the entire container. Thank you to that woman for telling them the container they reached into was no longer food safe, though, they kept it up front, likely serving to customers later. Second, I ended up waiting 27 min from the time I walked in until I received my food. They refused to make any to-go orders before helping the line they had, which was caused by 4 of the 7 employees focusing on cleaning for the night. They closed in an hour, so I assume getting out on time was more important than serving customers. I finally forced their hand by jumping in line to have them make the order for me. Third, upon arriving home, due to the condition of the restaurant, neither of us ate the bowls. Unfortunately, these two incidents are not isolated and these are two of many incidents here. While customer service made things right the last time and said they would contact the store, tonight upon calling customer service they promised a free bowl for mine and bo-go deal to rectify my girlfriend’s, but still to receive. Upon asking them if they could have the store manager contact me, they said this was not possible. They also made no effort to say they would do something about this. Something needs to change at this location immediately! This one store is leading me to no longer want to eat at any Chipotle, somewhere I currently frequent when traveling...
Read moreI wrote a review a couple weeks ago when this happened and it was taken down. AVOID THIS CHIPOTLE AT ALL COSTS. Got the worst food poisoning from eating here. Ordered a bowl and it was very heavy. Sour cream was liquidy and my bowl was just quite crazy looking but I liked that becuase they usually dip you with adding extras. Ate my bowl and at around 5am I woke up crying with excruciating pains. Couldn’t use the bathroom and all I could do was lay there holding my stomach in pain. I felt horrible. Went to urgent care and they said I had pretty bad food poisoning and gave me a laxative and some other things to pass this. My stomach was sore for days after this. I’ve been to so many nice and elegant chipotles in jersey and other places. The rice and meat is actually COOKED at other chipotles. This chipotle needs either a new manager and someone to set the workers straight or they just need to close. Everyone that I’ve encountered here has always been rude and the inside is always trashed while the young kids are standing there doing nothing. Maybe go clean up the restaurant because it looks like the streets of nyc. Never coming here again and I’ll tell everyone to avoid...
