This place isn't bad, but also nothing special. I'm on the hunt for the best and most authentic mexican food resembling what I can find in San Diego or Tijuana.
Tacos: the tortillas are weak/brittle with it easily breaking and crumbling before you can take a bite. The Al pastor was ok. But again nothing special at all..
Burritos: I got the Carne Asada and it was a bunch of filler and little meat! Bunch of lettuce (wth lettuce does not belong), rice, beans, and a splash of meat. The meat was good but you won't get a savory mouth full when you take a bite :( very disappointing..this is not what I'm looking for in a carne asada burrito
Rice and beans: Plain Jane bland! You need to salt it up

This family style restaurant was very welcoming and loving. We were greeted with smiles and, personally, felt at home.
Our kids enjoyed the authentic environment and the music was fun too!
We had the pleasure of enjoying home cooked Tacos, chips, guacamole, fries and chicken.
The guacamole was delicious and refreshing! The salsa was delightful. It had a very subtle spice which had me coming back for more!
Their Tacos were made with corn tortillas.
They serve bottled beverages for consistency and they have a lage selection to choose from.
El Agave was an excellent coice for dinner. Well deserved 5 stars. We will be back for sure! The shop was fun to...

They have online ordering, delivery is available, but it is simple to pickup yourself. Just make an immediate left after you enter and go to the market counter and ask for your order. I'm yet to find a menu item I haven't liked.
Also, the market carries all kinds of hard to find goodies like the far superior "Mexican" Coke (made with cane sugar; not corn syrup), which pairs perfect with...
