I see many of these reviews are about long wait times or missing food. As someone who worked at Long John Silver’s, please take into consideration that how long you wait is most likely due to the cars in front of you ordering large amounts of food, and we (the cooks) can only cook a small amount at a time to ensure the quality of your food is decent. As for the missing items, it’s hard to get everything exact when customers like to drive off a few minutes after they order, or if they do stay, then our cashiers get cussed out because of something out of their control. So if you come to Hermitage LJS, just know that it will not always be a 2-3 minute wait, especially on a busy day, for example, during Lent or on Fridays. Also, we have been short staffed for MONTHS, so we try to do as much as correctly as possible for customers with what little staff we have. In my eyes, this establishment deserves more than five stars because we put in a lot of hard work to ensure that you customers drive off happily, even when you decide to curse and scream at us for something none of us...

I was very cordial with the server, but she was very snarky with me. I told her that she had a bad disposition and bad attitude. She retorted to me that she was having a bad day and and didn't have to speak to me. I asked her to get her manager. She quickly alerted her manager and he asked me what was the situation? I told the manager that the server needed to go home and that I didn't want her waiting on me because she was flippant and rude. The manager took my order. Long John Silver's is a long standing fast food restaurant specializing in fried fish, chicken and shrimp. In the last several years they have added a broiled menu.

The location was dirty. It was clear they don't rotate frying grease at appropriate intervals as the fried food had a specific after taste that's very perceptible to someone whose worked in food service.

The people that served us were not friendly and left items out of our bag. When we approached a very oddly designed drive thru, they corrected their mistake however the drive thru "system" was very dirty. I do not recommend...
