We went for the ice cream. Don't go for the ice cream. It's Hershey's brand which is fine but it is amazingly over priced and they only had 6-8 flavors. With half of those being odd/wierd flavors that nobody really wants. Prime example- purple unicorn. Daughter was dying to have it- tried to talk her out of it because it was sherbert mixed with vanilla with cherry sours in it, but bc it said purple and the word unicorn and had fun colors she refused anything but that-- took one bite and refused to eat any more bc it was "disgusting". Oh and it was $6 for the kids scoop sans cone....However if you want some novelty candy, its the place to go. Small, narrow building that's cram-packed with candy.... Over all seems like a novelty sweets shop with Bubba's name on it- which is funny bc he apparently doesn't even eat sugar. Anyway... There are better places to go for the $$ but ice cream...
Read moreThis is definitely an upscale dessert/candy shop in downtown Pensacola off Palafox street with homemade fudge, chocolate, candy, and gourmet ice cream. Everything in there, from the bagged candy, to the delicious desserts on display, to the ice cream look excellent. I’d recommend it for an ice cream cone after dinner at a restaurant downtown, or after walking and enjoying the area. Locally owned pushes it to the five stars. If I had a recommendation I’d encourage a few more low cost items for large families. They have chairs outside for seating on a nice Pensacola evening to enjoy...
Read moreI absolutely love this shop! The fudge (had some out to taste) and caramel candy apple with nuts that I purchased was delicious. I wanted to taste and buy everything behind the glass!! They have all types of candy plus ice cream. The items beautifully displayed and they have a very nice indoor sitting area plus a few tables outside.
The manager, whose name I think is Mike was so very friendly!! And Christa the chef and she was the same. I must have stayed in store 15 minutes conversing.
It’s located on Palafox street which seems to be the place to be in downtown Pensacola. And owned by a professional golfer named Bubba Watson.
If you are downtown please stop by this shop and enjoy all the sweets and great customer service! I’m definitely going back when I return. I’ve got to have more of...
