Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Peoria

Can't believe I have to mark this low. Was a red member from 2019 to 2023.

I have not ever had bad service and food here from this location so here goes my rant . Drove thru at 730pm 2/5. Went to place 2 simple orders.first it was a kids meal with nuggets and a drink. Was fine second part of that order was a strip meal large size with a Powerade no ice. He read it back with a Coke, told him no drink was a powereade and said he got it. Asked for Poly and CFA sauces. Placed order and paid with card. Second order 30 piece meal large and a DP no ice. Ordered an extra coke no ice and bbq and CFA sause on that order. Paid with card. All assumed good. Get to the window and all 4 drinks in one carry on and all of the order in a bag. Asked the girl. "Did you get the Poly sauce?" and she says yes she did.

Get home and its a DP and 2 Cokes with the kids lemonade. First, dont read it back and tell us you corrected it when you didnt. Cokes were flat. No co2. Total waste of money. Then only bbq and CFA sauce from the second order no sauces from the first order. Again dont tell a lie that you checked ordered it and also at the pick up that you put something in the bag when you didnt. Need to put the orders as they were placed and not combine for your convenience and screw up order like this. You get paid well for a basic job only to screw it up. Keep in mind this is a faith based company WE all should put best foot forward when we represent that. I ask the franchisee to help make quality and service the priority with the training. Mistakes can happen but lying and telling someone you did something is not acceptable.

I just got home from the Chick Fil A drive thru. I was there tonight at 8/12/2024 at 6:54 PM. I live 25 minutes away in Vistancia. I ordered TWO kids meals with chicken strips and chocolate milk. Upon arriving home, I discovered the drive thru reps incorrectly gave me only ONE kids meal and 2 kids chocolate milk. My 6 year old daughter was freaking out as it's dinner time right now and I cannot drive 25 minutes back to Chick Fil A right now. I immediately called the store, the person I spoke with said the only way I could resolve this is to send a complaint through the app or make the 25 minute trek back to the store during dinner time on a school night. He stated there is no way I could come in tomorrow so they could resolve the issue they made. So not only did they mess up the order but they are refusing to refund me the money they took for the second kids meal I never received. This careless mishap has now resulted in my son with a kids meal and my daughter without dinner. The last thing I, as a parent wanted to do on a Monday night was have to write a long winded complaint to correct a mistake made a by an establishment on top of helping my kids with homework, giving them a bath and getting them ready for school tomorrow. Every year, I take my daughter to Chick Fil A for her birthday. We dont go often but when it comes to her birthday we go here for some great people, great food, and a nice little time in the playground. Its a nice simple tradition that we cherish and look forward to. It started out great, there was no balloons available but I had hard time finding them to buy too due to helium shortage so i understand. We had our meal, ate it and the kids went ahead played in the play ground. The turning point happened after i ordered a single ice cream cone to wrap up our day. I stood there waiting...and waiting....as my kids came up to me and asked wheres the ice cream i just stood there in shock as people who ordered after me get their food and milk shakes. I started paying closer attention to the workers as I was waiting. The atmosphere wasnt the fun cheerful people like how it use to be. The workers aren't smiling like they use to, they dont greet you at the door anymore and unless I was a high school girl, they dont check up on you as quickly. As I continued to wait, another lady came up and said her order was missing fries. Careless mistake I never seen them do before. After i finally made some eye contact and got asked what I was waiting for, then the ice cream came out. I went back to finish it with my kids to wrap up our night.
