My wife and I are huge Postino fans and have visited all but one of their locations in the Phoenix Valley (six in total). We live in the West Valley, which means we have to travel quite a distance to the nearest restaurant. We’ve been hoping they would open one closer to us, and our dreams have come true! They just opened their latest Postinos in Peoria/Glendale. The official grand opening is on January 4, 2025, but they had an early event called “Friends and Family” on the 2nd and 3rd to prepare for the big day.
We went both days and what a fantastic experience we had! Loyal fans of this incredible franchise will tell you that the food, service, price, and vibe are what keep you coming back. And they didn’t disappoint!
I’d like to begin by highlighting the exceptional staff. Two of the managers, Brandy and Nate, stood out with their incredible kindness, warmth, and efficiency. Despite the busy atmosphere on our first visit, they took the time to engage in a delightful conversation with us. We also had a fantastic time meeting some of the corporate managers, Tannan and Connor, who were equally impressive. Some of their amazing servers, Riley, Aurea, and Cadence (I’m not entirely sure if I spelled their names correctly), made our dining experience truly memorable. The menu offered a delightful array of dishes, including Crispy Cauliflower, Shrimp Scampi, Meatball & Goat Cheese, Bruschetta Boards and Skewers, all of which were exceptionally tasty.
The restaurant, newly opened, exudes a charming ambiance. Its location is simply gorgeous. The dining area is spacious and has a vintage, cozy feel. A beautiful wrap-around bar leads to a spacious patio, and it’s pet-friendly too. There is also plenty of customer parking right out front.
The location is situated near the sports complex, close to Bell Road and 83rd Street.. There are plenty of other nice restaurants nearby, but Postinos is an absolute must-visit for a truly unique and perfect dining experience. We love all the Postino location around the Phoenix Valley, but this one was truly the best.
Most people experience a decline in the quality of food after a few visits to most restaurants, but Postinos is not one of them. We are so happy that they opened here in the West Valley and have instantly become our new favorite. 5 stars all the way! I can’t imagine it gets better than...
Read moreWe had the most incredible dinner at Postinos tonight! We took our time enjoying every bit of our meal and enjoyed both Erin, and then Jacey, as our servers. We didn't get much time to know Erin, but she was helpful and kind and knew a lot about the menu. Our time with Jacey was fantastic! She was also knowledgeable about the entire menu, helpful in her suggestions, checked on us often and was SO kind! We would definitely request her again on a future visit. We are so thrilled to have Postinos in our neighborhood and cannot wait to visit again. As we were leaving, we mentioned that it will likely become a weekly date night spot for us! We had the beer cheese soup, the chicken salad with raspberry vinaigrette, and a bruschetta board with the smoked salmon pesto, pistachio fig and ricotta, french onion, and sweet and spicy pepper jam and goat cheese options. EVERYTHING was amazing! We also enjoyed a few glasses of wine from their vast selection. They have $6 glasses of wine and $6 pitchers of beer before 5pm 7 DAYS A WEEK! They also offer a $25 bruschetta board (you pick 4!) + bottle of wine on Mondays and Tuesdays after 8pm - which is an exceptionally amazing value when you add in the atmosphere and service. The restaurant itself is impeccably decorated. The blend of colors, patterns, and artwork is expertly done with special homage to the Peoria Sports Complex (it's located in PSC's former parking lot) with it's baseball card themed wall covering and bleacher seats out front. I cannot say enough about how happy we are to have our own Postinos so close to home. I had previously enjoyed the Central location often, when I worked downtown years ago, but it has been over a decade since I'd made it a priority to visit. I wish I hadn't waited so long but, I'm glad to be back! It was everything I remembered and more, with incredible service and fantastic food quality that feels like a beautiful rarity in the restaurant industry, post pandemic. Special shoutout to Larry, who we recognized from another local restaurant where he had previously worked. He took the time to chat with us and make some recommendations for next time, which we appreciated! If you are considering visiting, definitely go! Postinos is a very welcomed addition to Peoria and we are so lucky, and grateful,...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting the new Postino location in Peoria, and it was an experience worth raving about! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant itself is stunning.
Now, onto the star of the show—the food. Postino’s menu is a masterpiece, and every dish we tried was bursting with flavor. The bruschetta board was an absolute standout (as always), offering a variety of creative toppings that pleased everyone at the table. Each bite was a harmonious blend of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The paninis and salads were equally impressive, with generous portions and perfectly balanced flavors. Highly recommend the brussels sprout salad and any of the paninis! If you are enjoying brunch, the seeded avocado toast was a generous portion and so delish and the meatball shakshouka was so flavorful and filling! Can't go wrong with anything on the brunch menu.
What truly elevated the experience, though, was the exceptional service. Our servers were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making great recommendations and ensuring our drinks and dishes arrived promptly. It’s rare to find a team that’s so clearly dedicated to creating a top-notch dining experience.
Postino Peoria also has a fantastic wine selection, and the happy hour deals are unbeatable. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just looking for a great place to unwind, this is the spot to be.
I can’t recommend this location enough. It’s a fantastic addition to Peoria and a must-visit for anyone who loves great food, excellent service, and a vibrant atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to...
