So I've waited till now to post this out here because I wanted to express my extreme dissatisfaction of the way my problem was "resolved "properly. I went through the drive thru at this location around 8-8:30 I ordered the 12 tenders specifically,I asked for 2 types sauces also. As I left the window I was assured the order was correct & sauces included too. Well I arrived home,opened the box to find legs & thighs instead . Looking at the receipt it says the legs n thighs special I called the # on the receipt several times,it would ring multiple times then hang up. Needing the tenders I closed the box & headed back to the restaurant. At the speaker I told the lady that spoke about the problem .Her Answer "we haven't any tenders tonight " ,my answer "why didn't they tell me that?" The answer was just "crickets " I pulled to the window , I'm guessing it was the same young lady,to hear "we don't have any " Asked her about when I asked for the sauces didn't that raise a wonderful she says people order sauces w regular chicken all the time, hmm OK. I asked why the calls were being picked up then hung. "I didn't get any calls" so I asked about if the # on receipt ,the answer I got was,"I don't know the # here.I asked for the district manager's # and I got "I don't know it. I asked for her name ,since she wasn't wearing one,"You don't need to know my name ". I got my refund (I hope)& she got the chicken back and drove off I took the longer drive to 35th& Cactus and got great service and fresh food. So the little one ate late and we were both glad this was over for the night. Since then I've found out it's a franchise store and the young lady 's was Evelyn. Not sure where to go from here but I'll figure it out. Not my 1st time at this location but...
Read moreClosest one to me. It's okay. Better than one location I went to earlier in the year. (Keep reading! I have a lot to say!) I always see the same people working there so I guess that's a good sign. Idk. The only complaints I have are probably a company-wide thing.
Their menu is atrocious. It is so limited. You know there is more available (such as chicken by the piece, for example) but it's not listed. Also with their specials, if you don't look at the windows before hitting the drive-thru or did not plan beforehand, you will most likely miss out on something. Asking the employees don't help either as they may only spout off one offer.
Their speaker placement in the drive-thru. It is placed AFTER the (limited) menu, so if you order something and are told it is out, you then have to crane your neck back to figure out what to order in its place.
Just a minor thing but I noticed they don't ask you "spicy or original" anymore. At least not at this location. The only time I remember they have it is when I see it on a coupon or I'm in the actual restaurant and I see the spicy sticker on the chicken tray/heat lamp thing lol.
4.... the drinks are expensive. Enough said.
All in all, I still like this location. As I said, my gripes may be a company-wide thing. My chicken is always hot and fresh so you know it's prepared in small batches. I hope they bring the smokehouse chicken back soon. Oh, also 9 times out of 10, they forget my jalapeno pepper. :( Oh and thumbs down for the honey butter chicken or whatever it's called. Read moreWe went there after ordering online on a Friday night. $50 for a tenders family meal. Pull up in drive thru and they say no food and no refund. Wait, what?! Managers aren't there till monday...so I had to wait till Monday to get my money back. It was friday, and this wasn't just like $10. I had 2 teenagered employees yelling at me that they couldn't give me money or help me in any way. So, bye! It was great. So Churchs basically jacked my money over the weekend. Thankfully I had just gotten paid as a single mother and that was why I had the extra cash. If that was my only money for food for that night, I would've been SOL. Never, EVER come here as they don't see your money as valuable TO YOU. I went back on Monday and got my refund. Nothing extra for having to wait the weekend, or perhaps actually offering me what I had ordered wouldve been nice, but this place isn't that. I've lived in my home 14 years in this area and have come to Churchs. DONE. My 2 teens can deal with Popeyes cause that's where we drove after getting screwed here. Had a wonderful meal at literally half the price. They have an app with couponsss. The same thing too...just one tender less for half the price. Flabbergasted. Thatll be our new chicken stop. It's right around the corner so don't waste your money here. Absolutely do not order online from Churchs. It'll trap your money as team members can't deal with online refunds.
