Papa Murphy's — Restaurant in Peoria

I and my wife have purchased from this location for the past 7 years without a problem. I visited on 6-24-24 and Jason made my pizza. He started talking about he and his brother wanting to open a food truck business and wouldn't stop talking all while standing over my pizza making it. I was not interested in his story and I know that while talking most people don't realize that some spit comes out of their mouth while talking. I experienced this in my lifetime as a customer service rep having been spit on countless times when folks don't realize what they are doing. I took the pizza home and told my wife. After I reluctantly cooked it she said "I am not eating it". I thought about it also and was very grossed out about it so pissed off about what had taken place I threw it in the trash. He also forgot to give me the sauce for the monkey bread I purchased for my grandson because he was so distracted talking. I called and he said to come back. I was not close but I drove back and asked for a refund which he did. My problem is after contacting corporate all Maria Pressnell could say was she was sorry. As long as he is a manager there I will not go back as he wasn't trained very well in food safety and handling especially as a manager! Food preppers should be required to wear a mask while making your food! I now have to drive further to get the pizza we enjoy at another Papa Murphy's location. I am very disappointed in corporates attitude as I think we should at least get a free pizza for our time and troubles. I am extremely disappointed in Papa Murphy's Corporate attitude as I have spent a lot of my and my wife's hard earned money with them...

This was my first time here and honestly I thought that I was ordering from somewhere else. What an extremely pleasant surprise. Kids love pizza and I usually will give in once in a while. Not anymore. I will be ordering this every pizza night moving forward. I was shocked to realize the take and bake was whole menu but they give exact instructions so even I can cook.

They do the work for you and I want to add they do it very well! The food is fresh. The restaurant is clean. It’s got everything you’d be looking for in a pick up pizza…. you know I always tell it the way it is so this time is no different except if I were you I’d run,don’t walk to Papa Murphy’s at Lake Pleasant and happy Valley in Peoria.
