My daughters 9th birthday party was here and it was disappointing customer service, wait time and food. I end up having my new baby the day prior so I had family host my party for me. When they got there the lady said that I had only paid for the table ( I assume what she meant to say is i paid the deposit to hold the time of the party, 3pm-5pm). And should have been charged for the package i wanted to begin with. As I was on the phone the lady kept telling them that she didn't see anything else for the party and i only paid for the table. I had set up for the BASIC package. Nothing fancy, but would have host, balloons, 2 peices of pizza per kid for $13 per kid (clearly stated in my confirmation email from a week prior). As this is happening, i am on the phone with them and the lady tells them they could pay less by buying 2 pizzas and some other stuff. Which end up costly $25 more than the package/kids I picked. Which irritates me that she was just trying to upsell them since there was not that many people there. On top of that, they did not have ANYTHING ready for the party, no table, no pizzas, etc. The excuse was that too many people called off and they were busy... NOT MY PROBLEM. They didn't offer ANYTHING for the inconvenience. Just excuses and empty sorrys. My party waited around 2hrs just for breadsticks and wings, and one guest to my party waited around an hr for a personal pizza and salad. When the party is only 2 hrs long. After hearing about the disappointing service I called in and all the manager did, once again is provide an empty apology with the many excuses that they weren't planning on that many people being out that day and they were super busy all day. (When truth is, they started picking up around 5pm when maybe 3 more parties came in. So mine got to fall through the cracks because they were tired and short staffed on top of trying to fill pick up orders before the people that came in to enjoy the atmosphere). We had to ask for information about corporate and she just said we could find it online. So no real feeling to try and keep custpmers coming to this location. Highly disappointed and I should have read more reviews before choosing THIS Peter Piper. Chuckle Cheese service has risen back above Peter Piper these days, should have stuck with...
Read moreToday during our visit to the Peter Piper Pizza location on 67th Avenue and Peoria, I purchased two passes for my children to use the newly added jungle gym. My youngest, who just turned two last week, became upset and refused to wear the wristband provided by the associate. Despite several attempts to put it on him made in full view of the staff he continued to cry and resist.
I explained to the associate that I had purchased the passes and showed him my receipt. I also shared that my children would only be playing for about 15 minutes, as we were simply passing time while our car was being serviced at the nearby Discount Tire. Nevertheless, the associate (Paul) insisted that without the wristband, my toddler would not be allowed to enter the play area. It’s worth noting that the play area was completely empty at the time, and only my children would have been using it.
He repeatedly stated that this policy was mandated by the general manager and could not be waived under any circumstance. I then approached the front counter and politely requested a refund. The team member who assisted me was kind and understanding, and allowed my toddler to keep the socks he had already put on.
However, shortly afterward, the same associate (Paul) returned and insisted we return the used socks. He reiterated the policy, stating that we were not the first family to experience this issue, yet offered no solution or alternative. When I asked for the general manager’s contact information, he refused to provide a card or any contact information. Paul was very rude.
If this is a recurring concern for other families, I believe it would be helpful to have a clear and flexible protocol in place, particularly for young children or those who may have sensory sensitivities. In situations involving children with disabilities, strict enforcement of such a policy could potentially violate ADA guidelines. Families are not obligated to disclose personal information about their children’s needs, and accommodations should be considered to ensure all guests are treated with dignity and respect.
I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that your team will reevaluate this policy and consider a more family friendly approach...
Read moreWe have had many parties for my daughters here and everything has been great, except today's party! We just rented out the large front room, like we always do, because we have 60+ people. The girl helping us was great but the manager needs some help with her customer service skills. We went in 2 weeks ago to book the party and the manager (Jordan) we dealt with was great. She helped us book the party and said there was a $300.00 deposit, to hold the room (and it had to be cash). So, we set it all up, came back in the next weekend with the $300.00 cash, but 'the process changed". We only had to put a $30.00 deposit down. Sounds great, right? That's what we thought... We had the party, got the bill and the $30.00 deposit wasn't credited to the bill. I went up to the cashier to pay the $638.66 bill but I wanted the $30.00 credited back. She had to get her manager and that's when it went down- hill, quickly. She had a horrible attitude from the minute she had to get out of her office. She was very snippy and condescending, I got so frustrated I told her it was fine (used a few choice words) and that I didn't need this. She issued the $30.00 credit (that I already paid as a deposit) but then charged me an additional $20.00 "Private Event Room" fee. After I paid the bill, she tried to change her attitude and act like nothing happened; that she wasn't talking to me that way. I told her to be real, that's exactly how you were talking to me but she had nothing to say (an apology would have been sufficient). All-in-all, the bill was $658.66 for the party. Pretty expensive for 30 kids. We will no longer go to PPP. Main Event Entertainment will be receiving our funds, from now on. To the manager working on Saturday, Sept 30th, around 3pm, I am still disgusted at your attitude. You need to take some time to think about why you're working there (it's all about customer service). If you were one of my managers, on my team, these kinds of things wouldn't happen. This used to be a great...
