So I called this store while I was at home inquiring if they sold oil diffusers or had any in stock. Who ever answered the phone said he'd have to transfer me to that department. I was on hold so long that I was able to drive from my house to the store and they still didn't pick up. I thought, ok maybe they're just busy. I walk through the doors to find about 5 or 6 people in line and that's about it. There were a couple people on the floor but I couldn't get anyone to help me. I would try to follow them to ask a question and it felt like they were purposefully avoiding me.
Some of the departments were organized but the rest were just a mess, especially some of the kitchen isles, bathroom, candles and clearance section.
So, needless to say after about 30 minutes or so I left and not one employee asked if I needed help, smiled at me, asked how my day was or even looked at me. Oh wait, they did look at me when they were trying to escape.
My husband was in the retail customer service industry for over 20 years and this is definitely NOT how a business should be run.

We did get some great finds, but the only large one in the set we wanted was dirty with several places a shopping cart or a few cards ran over it and left grease on white. When I spoke to the floor associate and asked if we had the option to return it after we washed it, she said you have to ask a mamager. I said can you help me locate one she said they will be at check out. Knowing if this was not an option we couldn't get the set, this was frustrating as we didn't know if we needed to find other options... when we were at the check out it took 3 more people to come up with the decision to write on the receipt sold dirty can return after washing. Read moreI spent an hour and a half in this store tonight with my daughter which was my first experience shopping at Home Goods. I found a beautiful sign but unfortunately it was extremely damaged and they were asking $49.99 for it which was highly unreasonable due to its condition. When I called for the Manager, Troy I believe, to request a discount since it was the only one in the store like it, he looked me up and down and told me he would take off $4.00 dollars. What a joke. If I wanted to spend $50 on the sign I would go get one custom-made, which in this case now I will. Aside from the poor customer service, the entire store look like it had been ransacked by a raid and merchandise was everywhere including the floor.
