This place needs to just start over... rehire everyone and restart or else this place won't last.
I don't usually leave reviews like this, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt the need to speak up. My wife, our baby, and I stopped by Einstein Bros. Bagels hoping for a quick breakfast. While waiting, I noticed an employee wearing gloves while working the register -- handling cash and touching surfaces -- then immediately turning around to prepare food without changing gloves.
That's a serious food safety concern. We were going to share the food with our baby, and seeing that made us very uncomfortable.
We asked for a refund, and the person who came to help us simply said, "We don't do refunds." No apology, no concern, no attempt to make things right -- just a flat-out refusal.
We left without eating but we demanded our money back. The situation could have been handled so much better -- even a basic apology and a little effort to understand our concern would've gone a long way. I really hope this location takes hygiene and customer service more seriously...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your [perris location ] on 03/30]. I visited to order a total of three items—two plain bagels with cream cheese and a sandwich. Unfortunately, I had to wait an unacceptable 45 minutes for my order. During my wait, I noticed that the staff appeared frustrated and unmotivated, which contributed to the slow service. While I understand that busy times can cause delays, waiting nearly an hour for simple items is unreasonable. This reflects poorly on both management and the overall efficiency of this location. If these issues are not addressed, I fear this location will struggle to maintain customer satisfaction and success. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make improvements to ensure better service...
Read moreMy wife and I went because she had a coupon to get a free egg sandwich with purchase. I had never been to Einstein Bagels and was excited to try it. The workers there seemed overworked and not very friendly. Eventually someone came to the front and informed us that they couldn’t accept the coupon because it was for mobile ordering and they didn’t accept mobile orders. When I asked if they could scan the coupon in person she said the computer wasn’t set up for that and they couldn’t manually enter the coupon either. We left pretty disappointed. I’m not sure why they would partially open the store and not accept online orders or coupons. Oh well, first world...
