This was our first time to Willie's grill in ice House. I've had family who've been eaten here. Was not rave reviews but I decided to give it a try over going to p Terry's across the street. We walked inside and noticed the very beautiful aesthetic. The very tall building with The long visual lines was decorated tastefully. We get to the counter. I let the person know that I needed a second to continue looking as there was nobody behind us at that moment. We went ahead and placed our order which was the chicken fried steak with a loaded baked potato as well as the street corn. And then we got the Chipotle ribeye tacos with a Caesar salad and loaded fries. I pull out my wallet and was informed that I could not pay at the time of ordering. I would be able to find a seat of my choosing and a staff member would help me with my order. We went ahead and walked to our tables. On the way we noticed there was a self-service drink station. So as we wait at the table, we've noticed that the sceneing is very well thought out. You're able to sit at your booth and not see any other people to north side of the building. You are able to see the TVs at the bar from your seaning from anywhere on either side. Our staff member came out and took our ticket and flag and let us know that they're going to bring out our beverage. About 5 minutes goes by. We get our beverage. Another 5 minutes and they have a drop of food but it's not our food and we explain to the staff member that it was for another table and they apologize. We proceeded to watch them walk around the restaurant for a good 4 minutes, then back to the kitchen and then back out when then... our food comes out minus one side, the salad. The staff member came to check out on our food and I inform them our salad was missing. Normally a salad comes out before the meal. We started off by trying the chicken fried steak which we would say that though the sauce was creamy it was enjoyable for my wife for myself a little too creamy. The meat ratio to breading was fairly good with at least a half inch of meat found within. It was not as tender as I wish or as I would have liked but it was seats in the well. The street corn was a cup of corn with a very thick mayonnaise dressing, some cheese and very little if any Valentina. Not necessarily bad but definitely not the pallet that people expecting it would want. The star of the meal was the Chipotle ribeye tacos. This Taco had a white crust of cheese on the outside. Well toasted tortilla. The meat was very juicy but not greasy. The onions and additional veggies were not overpowering. I would order these tacos again for sure. Now let's get to the stuff that we didn't like. The loaded French fries. It was definitely a lackluster amount of toppings to the portion of fries. For $2.29 of charge, you're better off getting other item off the premium menu. The loaded baked potato I would have to say the same thing as the loaded french fries. You're definitely just better off finding something else or spending that money towards an upgrading your entree. Now here's the worst part. We never really saw our staff member assigned to us at the beginning, but once within a 30-minute period and once within another 30 minute.. over a course of an hour and 10 minutes we saw him a total four times. We had numerous staff members helping other people assigned to them and unfortunately it took a very long time to order our dessert. It took 26 minutes from the time of food drop to anybody asking us if we needed something. It took another 10 minutes before we got asked if that thing had been brought out to us. It took another 4 minutes after that but we got the dessert for free. So cool! We asked the person who brought us our shake if they could apply a military discount which we found out the due offer at the time of ordering. We still tipped our 20%. We packed up our items and we left. I am not sure if I am really confident in the scene that I saw this evening. We saw other issues with other tables. I would be cautious.

JUST GO TO 54TH STREET - Did a curbside pickup order, notification states ready at 7:01, got there at 7:08, I used GPS to avoid Stonehill traffic. Younger blonde girl in blue comes out to drop off some orders and asked what my name was for the order. I gave her the name and she disappeared, after around 10 minutes I went inside: around 7:20. Never saw her again. While inside I spoke with a younger Hispanic girl with a lot of facial piercings, she was nice, and asked my for the name of the order. I told her my name and she went to the kitchen, and came back to drop another order onto the counter but never spoke to me again. The was multiple people that came and went and I saw multiple employees go outside with orders to give to cars. Then a Hispanic gentleman in glasses came and asked if I had been helped and I told him what happened, he was confused as he bagged my order himself. So he kindly apologized and went to go get my food ready, he even offered me a soft drink free of charge but I declined. At this point it was 7:50. Shortly after, a younger black girl came from the other side of the restaurant and asked if I needed help, I informed her I’d been helped. At around 8:05I got my food. My wife and I both got the tender because of the add for the 7.77 tenders. The food was not great either. Tenders were micro and bland, not crispy at all. The gravy it came with was also blonde, fries were hot but definitely old. Mac n cheese had less taste than my tap water. The Mac n cheese balls and mashed potatoes with good though, but not at all worth the wait. AGAIN, just go to 54th or Las Cazuelas, I’ve NEVER had a bad experience with either of them, and this is my second bad experience with Willie’s. I was half expecting them to comp or at LEAST discount it, but seriously I hope this place closes this year and opens up space for a Razzous or something. For time reference, see pictures. The top left corner of the phone photo shows the time I finished my food and posted the review compared to my pick up time.

Normally me and my daughter come here on the weekends and my brother and dad like coming here with me during the week. Never had issues and I’ve probably been here about 10 times in the past 4 months. I can say it’s been great and never had any problems until tonight. First , we order and it takes us over 20 minutes to have our waitress come and only because we complained to the front. Second, they brought our crab out and the crab had sea bugs on the legs. Now these are normally harmless but crabs are supposed to be cleaned before. The person who brought our food out also freaked out like we did. She sent it back then came out and told us the cooks said it was just seasoning. I’m not an idiot and I know what seasoning is. Our waitress who came told us it was not seasoning and the manager told her it was normal . As it is normally to find them on crabs, restaurants are supposed to clean them off before serving the crab. We ended up getting served the same crab again with the same bugs. It was overall very disappointing. After making the complaint in the beginning , a manager never came out to talk to us at all. I did again talk to the waitress to let her know the food probably wasn’t her fault but I was upset that no one came to talk to us nor were we offered anything like a discount of any kind. We did get a coupon for free queso and chips on the next visit. Very upsetting . I left very unhappy with the ending overall. The waitress who came to help us after the wait was very nice but I explained the situation about how they tried to convince me it was seasoning. Just not happy with the experience . We ended up wiping down the crab with napkins and the butter knife And I paid the entire bill because I just didn’t want to keep complaining after what happened since they told me it was seasoning. And to mention the waitress said the cooks said they took off the sea bugs. They did not. They were so many. Gave me goosebumps.

This location really needs to get it together…. When it first opened it was great, but the last 2 times we have been, service was TERRIBLE and I don’t say that lightly. About a month ago, my family I went for dinner, we ordered our food and sat down and waited and waited….. after about 20 mins of no one greeting or taking our ticket, I went to the front and asked if we sat in closed section, they responded “no… and they will find our server”…. 10 more minutes pass by, I went to the front and asked again, they responded “ there was a mix up about the section….. but yall can leave if you want” …. No apologies, no manager coming to save the day nothing….. as we were packing up, luckily another server noticed this and took our ticket and helped us out ( this was not his section).

2nd time: which was Just yesterday my son said he wanted to have his Birthday dinner here, so we went…. This time we were greeted and our ticket was taken, my son and I both ordered wings and my wife ordered chicken fried steak, her food came out first… they said our wings would come out in a minute….so we waited….. and waited. At this point my wife was almost done eating, so I flagged the server down again ( 20 minutes had past, by the way) he said they should be out in a minute, I told him, he might want to double check the order was received cause it’s been awhile,he came back and said just a few more minutes…. Then He disappeared for another 15 minutes in the back somewhere….. I caught him again serving food to other tables, and asked again…. He said it shouldn’t be much longer, keep in mind at this point all together we have been waiting for almost 40 mins… my wife was done and our food never came, I told him to cancel the wings, we are leaving, even funnier he brought me the bill to pay for the wings we never got, I told him no he needs to take those off,… he corrects the bill for only the items we got. There was NO apology, again NO MANAGER CAME to help with the issue, NOTHING… just an alright and have a good night in a very monotone style, so we ended up having to order my son pluckers instead, NEVER going back to...

The top left corner of the phone photo shows the time I finished my food and posted the review compared to my...
