I'm a center city regular so I wanted to give this place a try and came in for breakfast. Food was the poorest quality I've ever had downtown. Ordered eggs, ham and pancakes. Server, who appeared to be one of the owners, was friendly enough but let me know that their ham was a lunch meat, which struck me as peculiar since you'd think a place that opens at 6 am and specializes in breakfast & lunch would at least have a breakfast ham. Ordered sausage instead. While sausage has never had a reputation for being a healthy choice, these particular links were among the poorest quality I'd every had. The entire insides were a translucent fat, burnt on the outside and not well cooked inside. Eggs were passable, pancakes seemed like they were almost fried. Maybe I'm just spoiled by the quality and awesomeness of the food at the Reading Terminal but the food here at A.P.J. , at least the selections I tried, were just awful.
