Excellent chirashi bowl for take out! The Nakama team did a great job reimagining this restaurant into something new and distinctly "them!" I am excited to go back and explore their menu.

This is a fairly new omakase and sushi spot in the city (opened just a few months prior to my visit). The value of what I ordered felt fair. The fish taste and textures were all distinct, subtle, but shined in each bite. The rice in my chirashi was seasoned strongly, which is my preference for sushi rice on its own but might not be for all.

The staff are very welcoming and greeted me with excitement when I arrived. They worked very quickly but didn't make me...

Literally everything was perfect! I could just leave it at that. First, it was so chill and quiet at lunch time. I'm sure they wish they had more customers in a Saturday afternoon but I was really happy we had no problem getting a table and having a quiet lunch. Some of the options are a bit pricey but it's because there's wagyu and foie gras (that hand roll, btdubs, was one of the best and most interesting things I've ever eaten) but just FYI, it's like $18 for one small hand roll. Their sushi was perfect, their ramen was so wonderfully flavorful and rich, their dumplings we had to get two orders of, and service was delightful. I can't...

Had the worst sushi experience in Philly at this restaurant. The menu value was way worse than average. For the already overcharged price, their portion sizes are laughably small — the regular sushi rolls here are 6pc each whereas in every sushi place we’ve been to it’s been 8. Their nigiris are 1pc per a $6-9 order.

The service was slow, one server was rude, and they repeatedly messed up our order: bringing the wrong foods and having to be reminded of the items we ordered. Our skewers came out cold.

We love sushi and almost never have bad impressions of restaurants, but I advise those looking for good sushi to go to the many better...
