Bubby's Brisket — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Great food at a fantastic price! I work in Center City and goodness knows there are a LOT of food options. Bubby's though, is one of my absolute favorites. There are no tables, so be prepared for takeout only. The food though, is great, and the service is friendly. The owner and chef, "Bubby" (no, he's not your grandma) is extremely accommodating. He'll customize your food just about any way you want it. Be prepared for lines, though. This place is well known to the locals and we aren't afraid to wait for good food. I’ve worked near here for years and ate lunch from here almost daily. The food is always consistently good, and the customer service from the owner and whoever’s answers the phone is always professional and kind. Sorry I demolished my food so fast that I couldn’t take a picture. My fav from here is the chicken ch steaks. And the fries are like no other! 10/10 recommend.

Update: Unfortunately the store is under new management and cooks and I am so disappointed. Both times I went in there I witnessed the owner not wearing gloves while handling my food. The second time was enough for me not to ever...

I went here the other day, I have been a few times before. I noticed that there is a new cook. Well they gave me a lot of fries but they were ok. They just used a frozen bag of fries. The chicken cheesesteak wasn't that great. The cheese that was used was very cheap and didn't taste that great, the roll wasn't the freshest either. The lady on the phone told me that my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived no line and they were still cooking my food. The wait time was not good and neither...
