Checkers — Restaurant in Philadelphia

After years of not being able to go to a Checkers, I finally got around to coming back to one of the few restaurants still around. At this particular Checkers you can sit inside and enjoy your meal which is pretty nice. Could be a little cleaner but overall nice. So customer service was a little weird during this visit. The employees weren’t rude per se but it was super hard to understand the cashier because of how soft she spoke. I literally couldn’t hear her and she was standing like 2 feet in front of me, so ordering was a little harder than usual. In addition, I was given two napkins to start inside the bag and when I went back up to get the sauces they didn’t add in the bag I asked for a few more… they gave me two more. 4 napkins total for 2 meals consisting of various items.

Now let’s get into the food. Ordered two T-Pain meals and they were alright. The fries at checkers are always amazing and they came out fairly fresh and hot. Now the sandwiches were a different story. Both were a little on the colder side and weren’t made as we asked for them so that was a bit of a let down. The nuggets were warm and the sauces were just ok. I should’ve gotten a different sauce for sure but again couldn’t understand the employee when they told me what sauces Checkers offered. Today I went through the drive through for a slushi after a long hot day. The 2 young man and woman that filled my order filled my cup with ice for a soda then topped it off with the slushie. I broke a tooth on an ice cube it is going to cost me 700.00 dollars plus my time. I used to like checkers but this would have been avoided if the idividuals that worked 7 7 20 around 3:30.i am an essential work 6 days a week while everone is recieving a check and are awarded for staying home. This is to the owners of checkers. This was a careless act that cost me mortgage payment. I still love the food but its a shame a few employees made my next 2 weeks of pain filled tooth tenderness. If the owner of checkers cared about his customers he would at least acknowledge my review if he could help me with the 700 dollar slush. I new slushi is a start. If you make an effort to help me from paying all the cost. I will edit my review with the truth always a simple solution if i have to file a law suit which i wouldnt even think about but, i never lie. I was put through a painful few days. You can choose to ignore but I will never frequantam a checkers and will reconmend to my 10,000 followers to be leary of checkers unsupervised ...

I would leave no stars if I could. Just had the worst experience at this checkers and I haven’t been to a checkers in years. So I order a $5 meal and add on a checker burger. The woman Jadea says 10.67. I said a check burger is 4.29 and for .70 more I could just get a whole meal. She said yes. So I said let me pay the difference and do that. She’s says no because you already paid. So I said. Well it’s either you give me what I want or I’ll just take my money back. So instead of Jadea re ringing it out or being a good customer service person and when I ordered it she could have said for .70 you can have a combo. Instead she gives me an attitude rips the receipt out of my hand and gives me a ton of grief. It would have been easier to re ring it out. Now the best part is her boss the manager who would not identify her self. Stared at me said why didn’t you just say you wanted 2 combos. How did I know a check burger was 4.29. To say the least every person including the manager needs to be fired and should never work with people ever. I will never go back to a checkers or a rally’s ever again and I will be calling corprate and making a tik tok of how poorly this establishment is and it should...
