Thank goodness!
I have a very busy life and not much time to cook. So, when I have to get something quick, that has protein, there isn't much choice but to get fast food.
I'm concerned about my health so I have to be careful with fast food. In addition, it gets boring, so it's just eating to stay alive. However, I was delighted to find this place in my neighborhood!
If you never tried Middle Eastern food you are missing out. It's typically deliciously spiced protein with vegetables and savory spices. It's healthy and flavorful and I've been wishing for YEARS that a restaurant like this would be located near me.
They also have burgers, chicken sandwiches, and hotdogs none of which I have tried yet. But, I assume everything is prepared quickly by the cheerful staff.
If you are dining in the place, they have comfortable seating and a pleasant decor thus creating a relaxing environment. So, it's like a nice welcoming little restaurant rather that a fast food place designed to get you in and out.

Read moreI discovered U-Meat Doner House by complete chance today and I’m so glad I did! I’d been craving shawarma/ lawash with chicken all day. I walked in and ordered exactly what I’d been dreaming of: a chicken wrap. It did not disappoint. The meat was flavorful, the veggies fresh and crisp, and the creamy dressing tied it all together perfectly. And to top it off, they gave me a free beverage as a first-time customer. Such a sweet surprise!
The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the café itself is clean and stylishly designed. This little spot just made my day. I’ll definitely be...

They serve it as “doner,” which is a different style than traditional shawarma, so the taste reflects that.
There were a few things missing that I usually expect—no pickles or tahini sauce. I asked for onions to be removed and fries to be added, but I’m also not a fan of tomatoes.
Overall, while the service and cleanliness were great, the shawarma itself fell short of what I was hoping for. The meat lacked the flavors. The lavash was good 👍🏼 I...
