Let me start off by saying the waitress was phenomenal! She is probably the only reason I’m giving this review 3 stars. Now on to the HORROR story. This was my first time eating here but I’ve picked up food from here for other people & it smelled delicious. I decided to take my girlfriend out for a nice dinner and I believed in my heart this place was going to serve me good AUTHENTIC mexican food. The lie detector determined, that was a lie… My girlfriend got the steak tacos and I got a burrito. Now someone explain to me why they put SLICED AMERICAN CHEESE on top of my burrito???? Even chipotle doesn’t do that. The taste was horrible and made me nauseous. My girlfriend ended up telling the waiter to take my food back and bring me some tacos because ā€œthats the safest choiceā€ (wish she had told me that before we can/I ordered). The waitress had no issues with taking it back at all, so thank you to her and to her only. I then later realized the slice cheese was EVERYWHERE. In the refried beans (which were so bland) and even in the tacos to some capacity. Please don’t even give this place a thought unless you really love white american sliced cheese just randomly melted ON TOP of your food. Luckily my girlfriend took some pics so you can see that my burrito is covered in it. Oh and the drinks were OK & the tacos were decent. I will NEVER return.

*Queue "One Margarita" * Y'all y'all y'all. Hear me out. This place isn't the greatest food, it's far from perfect. What it is though is exactly what I expected from a TexMex place. This place is in an awkward spot in the plaza. The paintings on the wall are kinda great. It also looks like the one by my table was painted like two years ago. I don't know why I find that great but I love it. We were given a table super quick. The wait staff was super nice. Very friendly. The menu is pretty large so it can be hard to figure out what to get. I started with a Paloma. The chips were crisp, and the salsa was loose. This is perfect for what I was hoping for. I ordered the queso fundido. I don't think it was remotely close but it was damn good. I got the deluxe plate or something close to that name. If had everything. Chile rilleno, enchilada, tamal, taco, beans rice, and a tostada. There was a massive portion of rice and beans. These are the rice and beans I remember at the TM places of my childhood. The tab wasn't too bad for me ordering quite a bit and the largest entree possible. Let's get one final thing straight again. This is not perfect food. This is what I wanted when I saw a TexMex spot in a strip mall. "Two margaritas"

Great lunch/special menu, large portions, chips and salsa included, authentic atmosphere and beautifully decorated!!! Ask for the house salsa and house hot sauce (warning: dip lightly!) you won't regret it! We shared 3 cheese enchiladas as the appetizer I got the lunch pick 2: 1 pork tamal (it is ground pork) it was fantastic, came with the red sauce and cheese. 1 chicken quesadilla (chicken is shredded) was very flavorful and has cheese and chicken only. I would order this exact order again!!! Comes with rice and beans If I save enough room in my belly, next time I am going to try the churros!!! Saw them when leaving and I was very jealous. BUT I got a slice of Dolce De Leches cake to go, they have the best one. It is never dry!

Their food is amazing! Fresh and deliciousšŸ˜‹!!! They even have happy hour on Sundays! Love the margaritas. Half off drinks are at the bar only.šŸ¹

UPDATE01/15/2019 ””NOT TODAY OR ANY DAY....PHILIPE!! My co-worker and I have been coming to Las Margaritas since September faithfully once or twice a week. We are usually here on a Friday during happy hour, due to a stressful work week. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICENO BUENO So I'm sitting at the bar...and I'm still sitting at the bar...FINALLY the lady asks me, if anyone has helped me??? I said, No No No No No...I ordered my usual coconut margarita and waited for my coworker. We're watching other people around the bar being offered/served chips, salsa, and menus. We waited about 35 minutes!!! ”NADA! So I said to the BALD headed man at the bar the aka Mr. Clean, what happened to the salsa, chips, and menus?? Mr. Clean got nasty and I got right with him. So basically, he claims he's the manager at the bar. The lady serving us looks clueless as Hell. Mr. Clean said if he doesn't know you he's not going to serve you!!! So, you'll have to ask to be served a drink, salsa, chips, and a menu to order food....Yes,that is what Mr. Clean/Bald head man at the bar said! Oche is a good server from my experience but he was gone before we got there. The people who serve the booths/tables are good enough, I've never had any issues with them, but watch those bar servers. Hmmmm....so I actually spoke to the real manager Philpe and told him what happened and how we were never asked if we wanted anything not even another drink?? He said free margaritas on him next....That's if there is a next time!!! I pay for everything else in life so a free drink is not a big deal to me just improve the CUSTOMER SERVICE at the resturante! Ok, no problema! I'm keeping the 5 stars so everyone can be on ALERT....Y'all have any issue ask for Phillipe!!! Not Mr. Baldy with the attitude he is...

Worse experience ever!!!!! Visited the Southampton location at approx. 4:30p on 8/25/14. Our waiter obviously was having a bad day.... didn't know how to smile.... acted as though we were not welcome. We attempted to order Mojitos..... no Mojitos (out of mint). We asked for water & lemon along with our drinks (out of lemon). We ordered appetizers & our entrees..... the waiter never asked what we would like with our entrees. Even though we were the only customers there, our waiter made us feel rushed. He brought out our entrees without allowing us enough time to finish our appetizers. When our entrees arrived, they were incorrect..... but before we could say anything our waiter disappeared. He no sooner walked out of the room, when the fire alarm went off in the room we were in. It was extremely, painfully loud. I went out to see if they could do something about the ear-piercing sound. They said they were not able to do anything because the manager was at the store. They moved our food to another table, out by the foyer & kitchen. By the time all of our food was brought to our table, it was cold & we felt ill from the unbelievably loud noise. We tried to eat, but could not. We asked for containers for our food. Another waiter brought out the containers, then our waiter asked if wanted anything else or just the bill. He brought out our bill of $95.08. I asked if we could be compensated somehow for the inconvenience we experienced. He said no..... accidents happen. I asked to speak with someone in charge. He told me no one there was in charge..... the manager was still at the store. We paid our bill and left.... not feeling well at all. Since then, I've attempted to contact Las Margaritas via phone and email...... no response. I just can't believe an establishment would treat their patrons in...

Summary: food went down hill from a year ago, managers need hospitality training, the cooks will give you salmonella, do NOT trust them and artists check your food before you leave, manager does not care For restaurant (shows in the food ) and finally pick another location for watered down margaritas and sub par food.

Why I say thatā˜šŸ»: I’ve had 3 experiences with this restaurant, today being the last one. 1st experience sat in, server was okay, food was eh, the end. 2nd ordered through door dash they forgot a whole platter ignore it the end. Yesterday at 10:30 (after I got off of work) I called to place an order, the phone girl/cashier was nice but sh when we got there around 10:49 the manager/host that night just looked like she had a rough night, whatever, we get our food and I should’ve checked it but didn’t (that’s my fault for trusting the restaurant) but knowing they closed soon we ordered something fast and light couch was tacos for me and all they had to cook was chicken breast for the pollo Diablo meal my husband ordered. I get home around 11:40 get ready for bed about time we are about to eat it’s 12:00 (there’s a reason for the time stamps) my tacos which was fish and shredded chicken was fine…. My husbands chicken was raw….. RAW. He told me to wait to call them tomorrow considering they closed at 11 I finished cooking one and he ate that so I can take the other back the next day to show the manager. I call the next day and asked for the manager whom I told our issues too and was told I should have called that day and that she was there until 1 am as if I’m her shift manager and am supposed to know thatšŸ™„ Then tried to say they’ll remake it and kept telling me I should’ve called yesterday at 1 am very very rudely and I was trying to not be mean and go up there banging in the...
