BEWARE. This company is a nightmare. I've only done a round trip with them this one and only time. My suggestion? DO NOT EVER BUY THEIR SERVICES. The bus passes were unclear with minimal and scarce information and directions (yes, ive checked the website and it does NOT help) I had an early bird trip for 6am and they gave only an address roughly where they would be stationed. Despite being there two hours early and at the supposed bus stop, the bus was not seen until it was leaving. Looking back, I was in front of them but given i had never worked with this company before i had no idea. They were not visible despite checking behind and pacing up and down the block several times until they drove off unseen. I attempted customer service, closed early in the morning. Sent out a ticket? No reply and would take 24-48 hours for a POTENTIAL response anyway. Tried calling their public phone line? Closed. I had to reach out to rival bus services to get an idea of what in the world I was supposed to do because I had no other way of reaching them to sort out my confusion. I attempted to talk to another driver at a later time. She was short with me. She was rude. She accused me of lying when I was trying to solve my confusion. This had stressed me out so I said things one shouldn't say to her face, but given everything that had happened up until this point had gotten me at my wits end. Had no choice but to wait for customer service to finally open. The person on the other end of the line was understanding enough to allow me to get on a new bus at a later time. I finally managed to get to my destination. My trip goes well until the second trip home. Getting on the first bus was easy- HOWEVER it was LATE by 2 hours due to traffic. Nobodys fault right? My ticket says that the first bus was to arrive at 4:30. The second bus leaves at the same time that bus was supposed to arrive. They didn't notify me about what to do if the bus was behind schedule. I managed to find where I'm meant to go next and see that they were to board later than the planned time. 6 pm. Okay, I wait in line with the rest of the passengers only to find out the driver was not going to let me on and was going to make me wait for a bus for 8:30. I had no other way to get home aside from the bus that was here now. They said that particular bus was sold out and are supposed to accommodate for later bus arrivals but they weren't going to let me on. A nice elderly man gave his seat up for me despite them not letting either of us on at first. He stood up for me when I, at least for a moment, genuinely thought I would be stranded in a city with no way of getting anywhere aside from this bus. The ride after was smooth. But- it's not worth it. Don't be a fool and go for greyhound or something as their associates did their best to help me figure everything out despite it being outside their field.
AND EDIT TO THE OWNER Recommending help AFTER the fact does not change anything except make your response redundant. There is nothing you can do and the help should've been avaliable WHILE it was unfolding. Make sure it doesn't happen again with another- which I doubt looking deeper into these services. Tough luck. Never wasting my time with Peter Pan Bus...
Read moreI had a really frustrating experience with a bus driver at the 100 Spring Garden Street depot in Philadelphia recently. As soon as I boarded, the driver didnât say a word about the departure time, the bus destination, or anything else. He just started driving off without any kind of announcement. I understand drivers are busy, but a little communication goes a long way, especially when passengers might not be sure about the details of their trip.
To make matters worse, when I asked him if this bus was headed to New York City, he responded with an attitude. He didnât even take a moment to give me a clear, polite answerâjust a dismissive tone and a vague reply. It felt like he didnât care much about his passengersâ needs or questions.
Good customer service is crucial, especially when you're dealing with people who rely on public transit to get to important places. Sadly, this driverâs lack of professionalism and courtesy left a bad impression, and I hope the company takes note and improves the experience for...
Read moreI needed to get from DC to 30th St Station, and my ticket and the driver made it clear that I'd need to get off at Spring Garden and transfer to a 2nd bus, which would then go to 30th St. I have no complaints about that or my 1st driver, who even offered to adjust the heat if it was too much.
My complaint is with the driver of the 2nd bus at Spring Garden. As he's studying my ticket in utter confusion, he informs me that I got on the wrong 1st bus. When I asked HOW that was possible, as there was ONE bus going from DC to Philly at that time, he just kept repeating himself that I got on the wrong bus, as I'm freezing on the sidewalk with my luggage.
At this point, I'm exhausted and annoyed. Frustrated, I ask if he's going to 30th St and if I can just get on the bus, out of the 18 degree weather, to which he responds yes.
It was a lot of annoyance and confusion for absolutely no reason, and I still can't make...
