Tried to make a reservation however on my end it informed me to call the restaurant when I did the person told me the tables were booked for the night however the bar was open for first come first serve, it was my first time at this place so I ask her if i could have a meal at the bar because it is my brother birthday and I flew him out to have a good time she told me yes we could order our meal and eat a the bar. I arrived a little after 10pm they ask if I had a reservation I told them no at the gate (it was a male and a female) but went ahead and gave them the information I got over the phone the gentleman told me he was going to look if the bar is full however I watched him went to the door did not open the door did not ask anyone anything then turn around and tell us we cannot enter I then told him I wasn’t from Philly hence I would know not to come without a reservation but the person I spoke to ( whoever answer the phone at this restaurant) said I could sit at the bar. He then said I could enter the building at 11pm and sit at the upstairs because after certain hours that’s where everyone will be, I stepped to the side went on my phone and start to look at other nearby places why the lady next to him came over to me and my brother telling us if we want to enter the building at 11pm we have to pay $50 each I was shock I wonder why the man didn’t say that to us in the first place or maybe because I told them we weren’t from Philly they trynna charge us. I went to mei mei which was close by and my night went extremely well I didn’t regret nothing and will never recommend this place and for some reason I think that lady was trying to take our money because she knew we were from out of state....

Read moreUpon entering it looks like a very dark nightclub with Extremely Loud Music. We were there for brunch so it was roughly noon. The DJ was nice but the music was too loud to be able to carry on a conversation with anyone at the table. We waited 15 minutes before we were ever acknowledged or provided with water. We ordered our drinks, it was another 10 to 15 minutes before they came. we started with Bellini's which were made with some kind of sickly sweet peach syrup and flat champagne, next I ordered a glass of white wine which was flat. Ordered Banana Pancakes the pancakes arrived they were hard like cookies and taste like cardboard. What are you doing my dining companion is writing their own review so I won't talk about their awful steak and eggs or their water down drink. We were extremely disappointed neither of us ate our food we each had two nasty drinks then had to pay a 22% gratuity which is automatically added because they know the service is horrible and they know the food is worse. There was no apology for the long wait they actually seemed defended when we sent the food back and said it was nasty again no apologies and no effort to make it right they didn't even offer to refire the food. Do not waste your time it's a very Hood environment and maybe that's why everything is so sub part. It seems as though they believe they're catering too an audience that doesn't know good food or good service therefore they'll be satisfied with their experience...
