Tried to make a reservation however on my end it informed me to call the restaurant when I did the person told me the tables were booked for the night however the bar was open for first come first serve, it was my first time at this place so I ask her if i could have a meal at the bar because it is my brother birthday and I flew him out to have a good time she told me yes we could order our meal and eat a the bar. I arrived a little after 10pm they ask if I had a reservation I told them no at the gate (it was a male and a female) but went ahead and gave them the information I got over the phone the gentleman told me he was going to look if the bar is full however I watched him went to the door did not open the door did not ask anyone anything then turn around and tell us we cannot enter I then told him I wasn’t from Philly hence I would know not to come without a reservation but the person I spoke to ( whoever answer the phone at this restaurant) said I could sit at the bar. He then said I could enter the building at 11pm and sit at the upstairs because after certain hours that’s where everyone will be, I stepped to the side went on my phone and start to look at other nearby places why the lady next to him came over to me and my brother telling us if we want to enter the building at 11pm we have to pay $50 each I was shock I wonder why the man didn’t say that to us in the first place or maybe because I told them we weren’t from Philly they trynna charge us. I went to mei mei which was close by and my night went extremely well I didn’t regret nothing and will never recommend this place and for some reason I think that lady was trying to take our money because she knew we were from out of state....

Upon entering it looks like a very dark nightclub with Extremely Loud Music. We were there for brunch so it was roughly noon. The DJ was nice but the music was too loud to be able to carry on a conversation with anyone at the table. We waited 15 minutes before we were ever acknowledged or provided with water. We ordered our drinks, it was another 10 to 15 minutes before they came. we started with Bellini's which were made with some kind of sickly sweet peach syrup and flat champagne, next I ordered a glass of white wine which was flat. Ordered Banana Pancakes the pancakes arrived they were hard like cookies and taste like cardboard. What are you doing my dining companion is writing their own review so I won't talk about their awful steak and eggs or their water down drink. We were extremely disappointed neither of us ate our food we each had two nasty drinks then had to pay a 22% gratuity which is automatically added because they know the service is horrible and they know the food is worse. There was no apology for the long wait they actually seemed defended when we sent the food back and said it was nasty again no apologies and no effort to make it right they didn't even offer to refire the food. Do not waste your time it's a very Hood environment and maybe that's why everything is so sub part. It seems as though they believe they're catering too an audience that doesn't know good food or good service therefore they'll be satisfied with their experience...

Date night took us here for the first time. We started out with a pisco sour and vieux carre cocktails. These are both new cocktails and they both were amazing! My husband had never had a pisco sour and he ended up switching with me and ordering another. For our appetizers we chose the Spanish grilled octopus that comes beautifully plated with hummus and cucumber tomatoes salad with micro greens. The octopus was so tender!! We kept the seafood theme and ordered the mussels in white wine sauce. OMG. The sauce was to die with and definitely NOT ENOUGH bread to soak up the sauce. 🤤 Did we have room? We kept going with our entrees. I ordered the crab stuffed striped bass and the whole grilled branzino that was each served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Husband thoroughly enjoyed his branzino and it took time to enjoy as well. Such a nice experience. The bass was played so differently. I definitely was surprised and loved the presentation. I want to be able to finish because I wanted to save space for dessert. There were 3 desserts to choose from and we went with the banana flambé which was so much fun to watch. The blueberry cheesecake... well, let me tell you I don't normally like cheesecake but this was so amazing. It wasn't too cold or warm but perfect and the graham crust was perfect. Can't wait to go back!

Looking for a LIT, RNB/HIP HOP, and Hookah spot...COME HERE MAN! I had my 30th birthday and originally was going to Rec and Royal. Thank the lord they closed and I found this place last minute! The food is phenomenal, the service staff was attentive and kind, the musicccc (baby, I'm from the NY club scene and this place was hitting like a 90's/00's NY club. In little ol' PA). They had room for my large party of 18 people. The decor is fabu as well. One of the head honchos came over and introduced himself and made us feel special...Did I mention the music was poppin. The whole second floor was swag surfin' like our life depended on it. HAHA! The bill did get a bit chaotic when trying to figure out payment. I would definitely recommend splitting everything evenly or paying on one card and sending your part to someone. All in all, this was the birthday of the books. I had to be driven home because of bottomless mimosas choosing me. ALSO RESERVE A LOCAL PARKING SPOT. It was wild because there was barely any parking on that strip.
