Johnny Brenda's — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I hate to rate a small local business with a 1 star, but I have no choice here. Recently I bought tickets to see the Geordie Greep show on a Friday night. I drove in from Pittsburgh to see the show because I have been such a big fan for many years. Unfortunately, I was forced to leave before the end of the set because of a completely unreasonable misunderstanding by a bartender. My girlfriend was accused of breaking a glass while at the venue. She left our spot on the top floor to use the restroom, and upon leaving she was confronted by the bartender in the second floor about breaking a glass inside the restroom. She had not drank out of a glass the entire night, but still, she was accused of breaking the glass, and then was accused of inciting an altercation with the bartender. Meanwhile, all she did was attempt to defend herself over what she assumed was a simple misunderstanding. Unfortunately, she was still removed from the bar, and not wanting to leave her alone in the cold without her coat, I came out with her after receiving her text. We asked to speak to a manager, and she was extremely unhelpful, making unfounded claims and blindly siding with her bartender despite not being involved in the situation or checking any security tapes or asking any other personnel what they may have seen. We will not be returning to this bar/venue and highly discourage anyone else from spending money in this dishonest...

me & my 7 other friends went here last night. we went around 6 o’clock, walking in you need proof of vaccination. 7/8 of us were fully vaxxed the one person was not but had a recent negative covid test. we were told by the hostess we could sit inside because it was recent, we sat for about 15 minutes then our server told us we could not sit inside because our friend wasn’t vaccinated.we were also told our friends couldn’t be served until a 25 year old came. which is fine it’s the law okay, but our server waited until our other people arrived maybe 45 minutes later to come up to our table again. we only had water for about an hour after a 3 hour car ride. it would have been nice to maybe ORDER SOME FOOD IDK. we were on a time crunch and left with only 45-30 minutes to eat before our show at 8. that actually wasn’t a problem because we all finished our food in 30 seconds because we were starving:). we all work in a local extremely busy bar so trust me, we get how it is working in a restaurant but this...

When I went with my friend, the food and the drink wasn’t bad at all. The thing that got me was the waitress. She had my friend and I waiting for a long period of time. She gave us the menu as soon as we sat down and said what would you guys like to order? I asked if we can have a min since we just got the menu so we can look it over. She walked away and came back 15 mins later I ain’t pay it no mind until she did it again. She kept disappearing in the back for long periods of time and it wasn’t busy honestly. I wasn’t to fond of her service. But to make a long story short my card was charged more then what it was supposed to be. When I tried calling up there I was told to speak to a certain person and call around a certain time. I called a couple times over the days asking for her she wasn’t there and I was given an email to contact her which didn’t work. My card wasn’t charged a lot of money but it’s the principal, why was I charged more then what the bill was? It was just...
