Karak cha has been always one of my favourite places to have quick food, however unfortunately my last visit was not really pleasant one. We have been there on July 28 at around 6-6:30 pm. No one at the desk, the guy shows up after we rang the 🛎️ from desk, I have ordered few things but could miss to notice the food stains on his cloths ( which I also understand that he works in kitchen but still atleast an apron would be decent) he keep discouraging us from ordering tea cz it will take 25 minutes, we said we r fine, we got sugarcane juice first cz we needed something to start. I noticed he was scarching his underarms with his bare hands, very unhygienic and uncomfortable. After that we waited almost 30min before we request him to serve us whatever is ready and not necessarily has to be all together, he said yes but he brought everything together after waiting another 15minutes. Also he told us that if we wanna order something it’s now or we will not be able to order anything after 5 minutes he ll be gone, he said the place will be open but no body will be at desk, I don’t really like the way he communicate with us. We said we r fine we will not order anything further. And when I went to desk after sometimes to fetch tissue paper cz he forgot to give us one, he was still there sitting on sofa playing with his phone, which makes me think he just doesn’t want us to order anything further. To sum up it was really unpleasant experience. The food was good but cz of all these we didn’t really...
Read moreThis is not meant to be a hate review at all but I am going to be completely honest. Went there on a Friday night, ordered “karak” chai, loaded fries, meat and chicken kabab parathas and rose matcha. There was no line to order and the staff taking the order were kind. I like how they offer board games and cards which is what we played in the meantime. The music was way too loud and because of that everyone in the cafe had to raise their voices so it was extremely loud but that could just be me. The total wait time for the food was 1 hour which is frankly unacceptable but I love my cards and am fairly patient. The loaded fries were terrible and no-one in my group took more than one bite. The parathas were okay but not good. The rose matchas were actually good. The waffle was okay but the ice cream on top of it is really good and is very similar to arabic ice cream. Lastly, the biggest disappointment was the doodh patti. I come from U.A.E where pakistani culture is massive and I drank karak chai everyday for decades so I take my chai seriously. Although doodh patti and karak are not exactly the same they are very similar. It was frankly undrinkable and no-one in my group was able to drink. There was plenty of free parking...
Read moreI recently visited Karak Cha House, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm, inviting ambiance and the tantalizing aroma of spices set the perfect mood.
The chai here is nothing short of extraordinary. I tried their signature Masala Chai, and it was a perfect blend of spices and flavors, brewed to perfection. The balance of sweetness and spice was spot on, making every sip a delight. They also offer a variety of chai options, from traditional flavors to creative twists that cater to all taste preferences.
The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, eager to explain the different types of chai and make recommendations. Their passion for chai truly shines through, making the experience even more enjoyable.
The cozy seating and charming decor make it a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or even work on your laptop. The attention to detail in both the service and the presentation of the chai is impeccable.
If you're a chai lover or simply looking for a unique and delicious beverage experience, I highly recommend Karak Cha House. It's a gem that I'll definitely be...
