King of Acai — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Update: changed to 1 star because look at the owner’s response. He insulted me and threatened me w God. (I took a screenshot in case he tries to edit it). You can’t have bad service and then get mad when a paying customer isn’t satisfied with said bad service. I also forgot to add that we waited almost 40 mins (because they told us they had to change the grease) just for the empanadas to have onions in them. Furthermore, your response proves my point the of bad service here. Thank you. ✌🏽

Let me start off with saying this is not the best açaí I’ve had in Philly. The açaí seemed a bit watered down. I like that it came with a lot of fruit, but the taste of the actual açaí was more like water ice and not sorbet as I expected it. I gave two stars because of that and my husband asked (in Portuguese) prior if the empanadas had onions and they said no. I open the empanada and there were onions galore.
