If you are in Philly area and diverse , I would not recommend going here. Diversity was definitely not welcome there. The lady working there was very unpleasant when certain music type came on, instead of nicely letting the guest know we don’t support playing this music at this time. She was yelling and screaming and assuming the rest of the playlist are that type of music. She stated we don’t play Nikki Minaj I have to take it off and continue yelling saying is that on the rest of the playlist while other artist after she skipped the songs have strong profanity on them. She did not react to the strong profanity . The interaction even before the juke box was not very pleasant as she was not friendly because of our diversity while she treats other with a smiling face. If you are looking for a local pub/bar, look no further! This place has had consistently great bar food for as long as I have been going there. I have been a patron of Nick's for 25 years. Joe and Nicole are the best! You will usually find Nicole behind the bar Wed.-Sat. , during the day! She is attentive, caring, and just an all-around great bartender. Not to take away from the other bartenders, Tim, Chris, and John.... also great!! They also have a large section in the back with tables and chairs, so bring the whole family along!! My girlfriend and I walked in on 08/22/19 at 12:25am. We wanted to order food and the bartender older male told us to order right away which we did and then once we told him what we wanted he told us the cook what cook that since they are shutting down the kitchen soon. He was a bit rude and condescending to me. I was nothing but professional and respectful. I hope he is able to be more professional to customers. He should’ve told us from the start what was available on the menu. It just doesn’t make sense how only certain things on the menu is available.
