First and foremost This review comes from just frustration. I didn’t want to give you too many low stars because at the end of the day you are a small business and personally, I feel like it would be rude to tank your ratings.
I don’t know what it is, but I have been here twice now to drop off film to get developed (1st time I had one roll and the 2nd time I had three rolls). There is no like email confirmation that you dropped off a role, there’s no progress tracking, and most importantly there’s no way to tell how long it’s going to take to get your film developed. The first time I dropped off film it took two and a half weeks to get me one roll. I wouldn’t have known it was even going to take that long until I called them well into the first week asking if there was an update on it. They said were cleaning the machines or something. How could you let people drop off film and not tell them something as important as that! Two and a half weeks is an insanely long time for film development. I recently dropped off my three film rolls and it has been almost a week with no updates. #1 I find it hard to believe that it seriously takes that long to develop film and #2 you should tell people how long it is going to take when they drop it off. If you wait until a certain amount of people drop off film to develop it all in bulk I can understand, but again transparency is important. I have gone to several other film labs in the city and none of them have made me wait more than 4 days Maximum. I took a chance twice with unique photo because it is close to my job and each time I’m severely disappointed in the turn around time and lack of transparency.
Today I called to see where my second round of film was in regard to development and I got a new answer of “7-10 days”. This is now the third time someone has told me a different amount of days. It’s just frustrating knowing there’s no consistency and transparency tbh.

Just copies wasn't like it was film or anything literally just needed two photos scanned and printed. 3 copies of each. Pretty sure walgreens could do that in an hour. It’s sad because I wanted to support local spots first but in the future I’ll be going elsewhere. When I went to this place they were friendly and the worker told me it would take two weeks. Which is already long in my opinion just to scan photos. Not develop. Scan. The worker explained the lab was backed up. I get that, but maybe stop taking clients if your lab is so backed up? A month goes by. Heard nothing. I call and they said they still haven't done it. Mind you this should take an hour tops? I asked if they could rush it because it had been so long. They say they are backed up. Right. Then why are you still taking customers? Also you are literally just scanning the photos. Honestly my fault because I shouldv'e just done it myself at Walgreens. I hear nothing for a couple weeks. I call back and they told me it had been processed. I didn't get an email. Guess why? They spelled my email wrong. Probably because they have you write everything on paper instead of an electronic form. I let the worker on the phone know that someone would pick the photos up on my behalf. The person goes to pick up the photos and now they say they need an email from me after I was literally told on the phone that I didn't need to do anything because the worker had said they wrote the persons name down. After having an awful experience at Webbcam LLC (the staff gave me attitude and didnt even really try helping me fix my camera), this store was a breath of fresh air.
I was coming in specifically to ask about the date and time function on my Nikon coolpix w100, as it wasn’t working and couldn’t be set on the camera. The employee took a look at it for awhile over the counter and eventually came back with a possible solution; which was trying to connect the camera via bluetooth to my phone with an app to set the time. It was the best lead I got to making the date and time work again. I even ended up getting a wrist thing for my camera here, and the employee showed me both an affordable and more high end option. I liked that he didn’t try to push the more expensive option on me and let me feel both products to get a sense of the difference in quality.
My friend also had a great time chatting with him while I tried connecting my camera to my phone. We could tell he was really knowledgable about camera stuff and was just overall a great guy.
