Based on my assessment being a customer of this chain several times, I found these followings: Baked goods: This is definitely one of the best stores around Philadelphia that serves French baked goods. I am a big fan of the traditional flaky croissant, and I finally found it. Therefore, I gave a thumb up for the baker! Staff: There are several issues that I notice in regards of professionalism. They need to be trained more especially about handling customers and money. There must be a way to not just shut customers down due to the store policy. For instance, when the customer preferred to use their own tumblers or cups due to environmental reasons, there must be options for them to be able to do so. Atmosphere: Some people go to places like coffee shops, etc to do their work, school projects, or studying nowadays. Creating an atmosphere for customers so that they can achieve their goals is very important if you want to excel in the business. The music was often played very loud and there was frequent interference especially in this store yesterday. Cleanliness: I am impressed how the staff keeps the place clean and organize. The bathroom is pleasantly clean Space: This particular site is very spacious and a nice site if you need to do your work or...

Definitely the worst PB in Philly. We come to PB every-week to get cake but we usually go to the University City or Chinatown location. Yesterday was the first time I went to this PB since I was in the area and ordered some cakes, the guy up front took the wrong order even though I pointed out and told him exactly what cake I wanted. Didn’t have a chance to look at the cake until today and I realized they gave me the wrong sides. Called PB back and asked if I could exchange, it wouldn’t be a big deal if the employees here know how to at least say sorry and offer refund but they initially said they couldn’t do anything about it and it’s our fault for didn’t check the cake and after we came to the store they said why do they have to say sorry if they give out a refund. Wow wow I usually don’t give out reviews but I do want the manager of this store to know why this PB isn’t as busy as other locations because of your employees and their attitude. First please teach them to say hi and smile to customers first and learn how to apologize no matter if the customers are right or wrong. They def don’t take accountability for...

This cake shop always has what I need. As I walked in, I was greeted with the bright, airy and inviting interior. There is a cute blue mural to one wall and there's ample booth and table seating. These areas are great for studying and/or snacking.

The pastries were illuminated in the cases, the flakey crusts glistening. They all looked delicious. In the back refrigerated area they had some of their infamous macaroons and my favorite cheesecake--not too sweet, just the right size to celebrate but not TOO much cheese for us lactose-intolerant folks.

As I made my way to the front I saw what I came for: a cake to celebrate! I asked the girl in the front who was super sweet and willing to help. Although they have the flavor placards on the cake displays, I asked for a specific flavor profile--not too sweet, not too frilly, light and airy cake filled with fruit. She was able to give me recommendations, packed my cake and sealed it with cutlery and candles included!

Overall, a sweet experience. These cakes are ALWAYS a...

Considering this is a chain store, the cakes and coffee/tea are really top-notch. Abundance amount of bread-based food and pastries. Hotdog, Egg tarts, apple pie.. etc, they got it. Salad? Pre-prepped meals? Yup! I go once in a while and grab a piece of cake and a drink. The Green Tea soft cake is amazing! Tiramisu is not the best, but definitely worth a try. The staff (often overstaffed) are beautiful Asians lol... but I think they need to get more engaged and friendlier. They are young so customer service isn’t the best. Price of single cakes are from $5.95 to $8. It’s definitely a bit overpriced but it’s not that bad.

Don't be fooled by the name! This is a Korean bakery so it's Asian style sweets inspired by classic European sweets so it's not a French bakery. That said, I prefer Asian sweets because it's not as sweet as Western sweets. I got several baked goods and a strawberry cake to go. I love everything! The cheese cake is especially good. I'd go for that kind of cheese cake over the ones at the cheesecake factory anytime. They have a variety of whole cakes too which are great for birthdays.
