Honestly, this review is more regarding the rude customer service than food. As a result , I will likely not return. On arrival to order take out, I was watched but not really greeted. I took a menu to read to make a decision. Once I decided, I stood up next to counter while cashier was cashing out a customer. They were speaking in their own language which wasn't the issue. The issue was that neither said excuse me as they almost ran me down to get to another part of the counter, they literally just walked up towards me would have pushed through me or stepped on my foot if I didn't step back. Apparently I didn't move enough out the way as I had to adjust again. No excuse me, or at minimum a hand gesture. That also would also have been rude but slightly more indicative of what was needed. As I step forward to order, she never says one moment or just a minute but instead answers the phone, speaks to a colleague and takes another call before taking my order . Then later, as I was sitting and waiting. SAME person speaks loudly saying hey hey you order, and flipping her hand toward me trying to get my attention. I responded that I did order but she continued to gesture. Apparently she needed to read my reciept to check the order, to give me the reply of my order would be ready in one minute. I wait some more, food comes out the kitchen, she ignores as she is now addressing customers in line. A delivery person comes in to pick up an order and goes over to the table, to be stopped by another male worker who confirms it isnt for the delivery driver. Mind u there are 1 to 2 other staff milling around the other side of the same table/ counter. With the cashier busy, no one else checks to call if if anyone is waiting on the order. So I go over to see if it's mine holding my reciept and inquiring if this is my order. Low and behold it is. At other establishments, it's customary for the person manning the counter to acknowledge customers, take turns between phone orders and those in person. Asking one or the other to hold on but still acknowledge they are present. Same with orders coming out the kitchen. If it comes out and you are handling a customer cool, but when done check the order to see if it's for a waiting customer then go back to person in front of you. So just based on this experience, not impressed. I ordered a simple chicken rice dish and soup. The soup ingredients tasted fresh but barely any flavor. Bland chicken broth and sauce overall. While waiting, another customer and I struck up a conversation and I learned they don't devien their shrimp. So be forewarned. For those who don't know, that is the shrimps digestion tract. So when you see a dark line on the back of the shrimp,...

Restaurant: 3/5 - Pretty nice, and open, spacious restaurant, very minimal in terms of decors. Has a very High school lunch room feel to it. (Check out, and big open dining area). It doesn't feel "Homey", like some of the Pho restaurants I have been to. Bathroom although it smells nice (staff comes in every now and then to spray air freshener) and looks clean (as long as you don't look down), there's stains all over the floor, looks like it is hardly cleaned besides spraying air freshener.
-Service: 1/5 - From the moment we walked in, we're greeted, well let's be honest, we weren't. I just simply said how many people we had. They sat us down. Throughout the dining experience, we're checked on once at the very beginning. When we're done the cashier said nothing, no questions as to how the food was..etc, just gave us an amount to pay, no thank you, nothing. The whole atmosphere, was very dull, all the service staffs seemed annoyed and not wanting to be there. Like I mentioned above, It doesn't feel "Homey", like some of the Pho restaurants I have been to, where owners and staffs are VERY passionate and friendly. This place seems to be full of zombies.
-Food: 3/5 - The food was "OK" Not the best Pho I have had. All the usual condiments were there (Chili sauce, soy sauce, hoisin sauce and Sriracha). For the price, there's much better pho places near by, or if you want really good Pho, can't beat Washington Ave shopping center pho restaurants. Although the price difference between Medium and Large is less than $1. Only difference is you get a bigger bowl with more soup and noodles perhaps, but definitely just more soup. I was Looking for more protein for the price. Broth was good at least.
-Price: 2/5 - Yes you get what looks like a LARGE bowl of Pho, when in reality, you just get more broth and not much of anything else. I would rather they charge $3 extra for extra protein (But they do have the option to charge to $5 extra if you want more protein). For the price, I didn't feel it was satisfying. Just having a somewhat nice looking restaurant doesn't...
Read moreThe food is great but my Lord, the service is just... facepalm We had a party of 3 adults and one baby. Our server brought 2 sauce dishes so we asked for another sauce dish and a bowl for the baby. He also gave us hot water so we also asked for cold water. He comes back with a bowl for the baby and disappears. At first we thought that he was going to get the rest of the things we asked for (sauce dish and cold water) but he just went off serving other tables. So we called him over and asked him for the dish and cold water. He comes back with the sauce dish but no water. So we had to remind him again for cold water. He then disappears and goes to serve other tables for a while. We waited but it was clear he forgot. So we had to call him over AGAIN to get cold water. This all took about 15 minutes after being seated just to get some water....
Then, as we were being served our steaming hot bowls of pho, a different server who had plenty of room to the sides of the table insisted that he squeeze between me and my friend to place our bowls down. He even put the cart right to the side of the table next to my friend on the left where he could have just placed the pho straight to the table as any logical person would imagine he would do. Instead, he came in between us and over our head. For me, he could have taken 2 steps to the right that was competely open space but again, came in between us and over my head to place the pho on the table. Both my friend and I made room for him to the sides of the table because that's the most logical route to place the pho but he was saying "excuse me excuse me excuse meee" until we made room for him to squeeze in between us. I've never seen such.. slow and...
