Ricci’s Hoagies certainly lives up to the hype! I’ve heard great things about this place and as a South Philadelphian I had to make sure to try it out finally! I got there about 30 minutes before closing and they only had a handful of hoagies left so make sure you get there before they run out! Luckily I managed to get one and I am sure glad I did. It was genuinely the best hoagie I have had here in Philly. I got the Italian and it was phenomenal. I love how thin they slice their meat, cheese, and veggie toppings. I got mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and oregano on mine. Everything is layered onto the hoagie roll perfectly (which is also delicious) to get the perfect bite each time. They have a large selection of chips and drinks to choose from as well. Service and ordering process was quick and easy. Staff is friendly. I took my hoagie into a Phillies game last night at Citizens Bank Park and enjoyed it there. The hoagie held up pretty well I’d say for being in the fridge for 3 hours after initially getting it and then being put into a bag. You know it’s THAT good if it can withstand the test of time and some traveling and still be so delicious! Easy to say I’ll definitely be back for more hoagies here, absolutely incredible.

An authentic Italian spot! I’ve been waiting to try this deli. I’m from northern NJ, I was skeptical about trying a Philly sub spot however after watching a few YouTube reviews we decided to try it and it’s hitting! The bread…fresh, crispy and chewy all at the same time. The fact that they slice their meat thin (🙏🏽 thank you) and on the spot makes the meat taste better. The sharp provolone and provolone together on a sandwich…was 🔥. I got a Ham, salami with both provolones…perfection. I will be crossing the bridge again for one of these delicious treats. The half is $12 the whole $24. These hoagies are filling and wrapped beautifully. They have a large chip selection. Their fridges have dessert options and fresh pickles. The guy at the register tells you “we served you well”…I must agree Rocco’s did❤️

We happened across this place - we went in to see the menu and the place had a line wrapped around its inside and one sandwich line basically working only on pick up orders! They cut your meat right there in front of you to make your sandwich, and all of the kitchen is right out where you can see it. Everything gets sliced super thin so they can cram as much deliciousness as possible into your sammy (well, hoagie). We had the old fashion Italian. It had, if I remember correctly, capicola and prosciutto, with old, sharp cheese, and lettuce, mayo, onion, and roasted red peppers. This hoagie was to die for! They also had a really good Dillonade with strawberries in it. And their whole pickle. We also sampled the long hots, but they are pretty dang hot and will come for their revenge.

Yo! It was once said “if a sandwich is just a sandwich” then guess what Philly A Ricci’s sandwich is more than a meal. I woke up this morning wanting Philly’s other known sandwich “The Classic Italian”, but in this case “the Old Fashion Italian”, so I thought were would I get such a good meal of a sandwich, SOUTH PHILLY. I Googled, I went, and I ate. Boi oh boi I chose a winner, not only did the staff greet me with a “good morning”, but I was walked through the process of order. Listen it’s a simple menu, but what you get are people that know how to make an experience out of simple cold cuts and fresh bread. That’s something you can’t get from the water, “Jab Jab”. After finishing my OFI “old fashion Italian” I thought to myself how could I have missed this place, it’s been in Philly for years, boi was I lunching. This spot is great for not just lunch, but that game day feast your wanting for the two of you or your closet of friends. Psst…. Please don’t tell your coworkers, once they tell, there will be a line outside a mile long, then you can kiss that game day sandwich goodbye. Get there early and get there often. A word to the wise “Yo! This Jawn is legitimate” try the real fruit juices “ real fruit in lemonade, a...
